they don't need 8 of 9. they need to win the last three series and then go deep in the SEC tourney. that will get them into a regional. They are once again peaking at the end of the season., but this year their peak isn't high enough to get them into a super, unless they get very favorable match-up...

If Hilliard had been put in sat AND pitched like Hilliard, they would have swept the series. He could have provided 3-4 good innings of relief which would have made the difference. ...

All of this. You don't drop the winningest active coach unless you know you can get a proven HC. Godwin would be a great choice for LSU....

I think Ward's size and speed is better suited for FS, as well, but with Harris healthy, he will get that gig...if they indeed have a single deep safety and push a ss to the box. ...
