Wanted to chime in and say this game is freaking incredible now after 2.0 update.
I attempted to play LotF 2-3 times previously. It felt janky I bounced off in the first area.
I've beaten all the mainline DS games, plantinum on Elden Ring.
This game is absolutely incredible now. Combat feels really good. The exploration is freaking incredible. It has several moments very much like DS1 when you find short cuts looping back to the main hub.
It's not overly difficult but still creates a solid feeling of tension as your dread builds while exploring umbral with a ton of souls.
The art direction is incredible. In contrast to Khazan. Khazan combat felt amazing but the world's were all grey and brown. Even the damn random pumpkins on the ground were grey.
I picked up deluxe edition for $22 on PS5. $17 after $5 PSN gift card reward. The value of this game at $20 is unmatched.
10/10 recommended now from someone that previously thought the game was a cheap, horrible, jank fest.

No. Clemson fans are a miserable lot.

As someone that loathes story heavy, cinematic games.Example: I could even get through the opening of God of War because they wouldn’t STFU and let me play.
I typically prefer fromsofts minimalist story strategy.
This game is an absolute banger. The story is so unique, mysterious, and trippy I just want to keep going to figure out wtf is going on.
The music is absolutely phenomenal. The way the music transitions from a tense cut scene to a battle.
I played until almost 2am and had to make myself turn it off so I could work today.
At 49.99 on PS5 or free in game pass this game is a slam dunk.

That’s where I am at. I am shocked at how much I remembered from playing 18 years ago or so.
I guess when you play something for 500 hours you don’t forget it. The combat still feels aged.
Elden Ring was my first souls game and it’s kind of broken combat in other games(Khazan raised the bar more) for me. Even open world wise. Elden ring achieved such a perfect ratio of rewarding looking in obscure places. Now when I play games that don't reward me for going to a back corner to check I feel let down. The world feels unintentional.
I still think within its generation the game was an absolute masterpiece. 10/10 game. For someone who has already played it so much the fresh coat of paint doesn’t quite save it for me.

This is exactly why I paid for the PS5 version instead of Xbox game pass for free.

Once I watched Fextras YouTube video on Maluca I cleared him within the hour.

I have kind of hit a mental wall with the game. I absolutely love the combat. However the level design just feels copy and paste. The side quest especially.
I beat Maluca in fewer tries than I thought I would based on the hype. At this point I am 23 hours in, many folks are saying their play through are taking 60-80 hours and I’m not sure I want to spend another few days grinding through these levels.
I have quite enjoyed the boss fights but It feels like the game is a bit repetitive and has too much fluff.

I can't speak for self employment situations but it handled multiple state income taxes, and ACA advanced tax credits, for me with zero issues. So it's certainly fine for more than just a basic W2.

Turbo tax for years was sick of getting the annual $300 shake down.
Freetaxusa the last two years. Zero problems. Will never go back.

I barely have enough cares to give about a star football player from LSU getting poached to another school.
I certainly don't care about this.

That would be the strategic solution.

You need to close the loop on that.

Finally beat Viper after swapping to dual wield. Have a nice combo going on that.
The combat on this game is the most addicting I may have ever played.
If anyone is on the fence pick it up. In many ways it’s more difficult than fromsoft games but less punishing. No annoying boss run backs. Very fair placement of bonfires. Great level short cuts. So while the bosses feel harder than fromsoft to me. There isn’t frustrating punishing mechanics to go along with it.
This game would be in the running for GOTY if it was from a major studio.

Viper kicked my arse for hours last night. Eventually had to hang it up for bed time.
Apparently he has already been nerfed

Just don’t know if I should buy for my PS5 Pro or Xbox Series X. Logic says PS5 Pro but I saw some reports saying Xbox had better performance.
I did the demo on Xbox and then immediately beat the first mission and boss on PS5 pro right after because I liked it so much.

I just started the demo tonight. After beating the second boss. This game fricking slaps. The combat specifically.
The boss fights have been completely immersive, intense, hard but also fair. They nailed the balance on their first attempt.
Buying the full game for sure.

Imagine having so few problems in your life that you have time to worry about this enough to make a post.
I recommend you go seek some actual problems in your life.

re: Google/youtube scam phone call
Posted by LSURep864 on 3/13/25 at 10:23 pm
This happened to me a few months ago. I work in network/cybersecurity as well. I answered the call just to screw with what I knew to be a scam after they had been calling me for weeks leaving voicemail saying press 1 for a callback from Google.
However it wasn't a run of the mill Indian. It was a guy who sounded American telling me my account was being accessed via API key.
I still was skeptical and didn't believe him. However I has created some random api keys for a blue bubbles server a few years back which had me slightly alarmed. As I never deleted them.
He then attempted have me approved a sign in request the same way. I told him no way. I deleted all api keys and hung up the phone.
I went through all of my active logins, nothing sketchy. I am certain my password is not compromised as it was a password manager generated one that was insane but I brute forced memorized. I also have non sms two factor enabled.
So to answer your question it is definitely a scam. I would imagine the email address was apart of some leak and they have some ability to generate prompts on demand. I am not a developer so I am not sure how it works.
I do not think you are compromised as long as you didn't click yes. This is definitely a bit more sophisticated than "sir, kindly do the needful target gift cards before I report you to the FBI."
If you look on reddit there are many others with a similar report.
Good job not getting fooled.
