Calling it now. Kelly to LSU, Fickel to Notre Dame. You know this scenario makes sense.

He’s a dickhead

frick him

He’d never be able to deal with the boosters at LSU. No chance.

He's the dark white horse

If we got Brian Kelly, and ND got Fickel we definitely got the arse end of the deal.

He does look the part, but I think you are stretching here.

How so, had great success at Cincinnati (before beloved Fickel) had success for 12 years at ND.

He's 60 years old and looks more tired every year. It ain't him.

Brian Kelly was implicated in the accidental death of a Student Manager, and lied about it.

Quit body shaming Kelly!

Get ready to get blown out in the CFP

Brian Kelly is the perfect guy to lead LSU football for the next 7 to 10 years.
We need this SOB to come in, clean house, and reshape the football operations into a Kelly program.
Consider by many to be the best program manager in the country.
Forget that he is an ahole, but know that he will turn the program into something we can all be proud of rather quickly.
Now, can we convince him to relocate from Notre Dame, we shall see.

Idk, ND is a well coached team, I just wouldn’t be confident he could recruit head to head with the guys down the road.

Yeah, I'm not sure why people would be against Kelly. He has won everywhere he has been.
The same arguments why Riley would leave OU for LSU apply to Kelly. The only difference is age, but Kelly said this summer he's going to coach as long as he's healthy.
The only thing he hasn't won is a national championship at the FBS level, and despite a NCG appearance, and 2 CFP appearances at ND, he likely realizes he has hit the ceiling there.
LSU has a built-in recruiting base, and has a recent history of winning national championships. He could get this thing turned around in no time.
