OSU is just playng too well right now. Even if Texas comes out ready to play and is relishing the underdog mentality, OSU is at another level. Texas defense keeps them in it for a while but OSU makes to many big plays

OSU 31
Texas 17
Jay wright
Beard from Ole Piss.
Jayden has been great this year. Should win rookie of the Year. But Joe took a middle of the road Bengals team to Super Bowl. And almost did it again the next year. This team is only 8-8 because of Joe, I would still put Jayden behind Joe but iwhat Jayden has done this year has been spectacular.

Also, Josh Allen is gonna win the MVP. Saquan has been great this year, but go look at what Josh Allen has done.Hes accounted for over 4000 yards and 40tds.
Dont tell us. .Tell Thatcher. He seems to be one who forgot he pitched in the title game

re: LSU vs MISS ST

While LSU has played well against most of the teams in the confernce, Miss St is not one of them. Bad matchup for LSU. As is Bama. Like to see them win, but this one goes to the Bulldogs. Plus MSU is fighting for their Tourney lives
There was no fight- Just one big girl pushed a smaller girl. This only a story because Kim doesnt cave in to the woke mob and Dawn Staley checks all the boxes. Your life will be better off not giving a frick what he liberal media thinks.
Would be a better scenario if LSU is in the 7/10 game. Would play either South Carolina or Bama winning your first game. Not easy by any stretch but better scenario that the 8/9 game. Winner plays Tennessee. Tennessee looks pretty damn good right now.

re: Recruits.LSU mock defensive class

That is not even remotely close to how it will end up. You frickwits having a bitch fit in here over this need to calm your tits.

Was about to say the same thing. Its called a mock class for a reason. Once Davis and others get going, this class will look totally difeerent. and will most likely include some big gets.. But sure, go ahead and do what some of you morons do on here and over react to a mock prediction for 2025 in February 24.

re: Who do we want at Alabama ?

Who cares. Let them get whoever. lanning. Sark. Kiffin. No one will have the same success as Saban. He was just built different. Plus the landscape of College Football has forever changed. The playing field has leveled. Which is one of the reasons he left. He no longer had a monopoly on players or could control the landscape of football. Saban was successful because he had better players than everybody else. Once that left his domination ended too. Will Bama still be successful? Sure. But not like the run they from 2009-2017. So let them hire whoever they want. LSU along with the rest of college football are good.
Do you some of you guys think before you start a thread like this?
Recruiting ability is a factor but not based soley on his ability or inability to lock down one recruit.

Brian Kelly is not a coach who will love Sloans ability to call an offensive game plan and run the offense and be willing to name him OC but then not because he doesnt land Underwood. No coach would hire anyone like that
Sloans appeal has nothing to do with the whims of an 18 year old

If you believe this, you're living in a fantasy world.

And you are living in one if you think a head coach will hire or not hire a coach based on his ability to "land" a recruit. Especially his Offensive Coordinator.

Ill take a stab on what the staff might be

DC/LB Coach - Baker
DL Coach - Elston
DB - Raymond
Safties - Jackson

Im probably wrong on all but i took a shot!

Im pretty sure Unlucky Tiger has proven he doesnt know shite.
Are we really concerned about what Ryan Leaf thinks? :rotflmao:

How he lasted this long in Pittsburgh is mind boggling. How he continues to get jobs is even more boggling.

re: Is a NY6 bowl off the table?

I assume it would be Texas because Bama would have the better overall resume, but how much does the head-to-head weigh in the overall equation?

It better weigh alot. Otherwise, whats the point in playing that game if Bama gets in over them and both are 1 loss champions. And those two teams are vying for the final spot.

In this scenario, it would mean Fla St, Washington and either Michigan or Ohio State are all undefeated, leaving 1 spot.

i can guarantee LSU aint winning by 17 or more points. Can they win? Sure. If we do it will be by 7 or less. This game will be almost an exact copy of the LSU Ole Miss game.LSu will have to score almost everytime they have the ball to win this game.
Groundbreaking news right there.. the best we can hope for is a C minus game.. this defense doesn't have an A game
