All LSU wants is a winning coach. Win games/championships. Tiger Stadium will be rocking, and Brian Kelly will be everyone’s favorite college football coach.

Yes, your probably right.

Brain Kelly would be the bottom of the 9th hit to win the championship… But we can dream.

He’s the all time winningest coach in Notre Dame history. The man has tenure there.

Yes, but there were rumors just last year that he might leave, possibly for the NFL.

Then before this season, he made a comment about Marcus Freeman being the next coach at ND. He tried clarifying those comments later, but it briefly raised eyebrows again.

Do I think he's actively trying to escape ND like Jimbo did from FSU? No. But after a decade, I think he and Irish fans wouldn't be opposed to an amicable split to try something different. I think Spurrier once said everybody gets tired of the coach after a while, no matter what he's accomplished.

Only at making students film practice in windy conditions.

As a head coach, his record is impeccable.

Listen I don’t actually think he sucks

But I do think he’s hit his ceiling already

Why would he leave notre dame?

He is their all time winningest coach. That would almost be like saban leaving alabama.

Don't you think he would've left by now. He will retire at notre dame.

Idk, ND is a well coached team, I just wouldn’t be confident he could recruit head to head with the guys down the road.

Why not?

90% plus of every recruiting class that comes to LSU, wants to come here because it's LSU, first and foremost.

Brian Kelly may be unhappy because ND is balking at paying his assistants current market value.

Getting Marcus Freeman’s salary north of $1.6 million last year was a huge struggle…

He would never “want” at LSU.

You might be right and Franklin would be a great hire, but I think it’s Kelly because I just don’t see Franklin coming to LSU right now.

We don't know what's going on internally at these schools.

There's no logical reason for Franklin to leave Penn State, but his name has come up for USC in the past, and now it has come up again for USC and LSU. There was another thread detailing rumored friction with Paterno's son.

There's no reason for Riley to leave OU, but some posters have argued that LSU is a better job once OU joins the SEC, and that Woodward could convince him of that.

Kelly seems as attainable as either of them for all the reasons laid out in this thread.

Mel Tucker would be the whale fricker, not the whale itself.

Everyone is not the best player ever, and no team practices great everyday.

Brian Kelly will hold the team accountable.

Hang tough with the words.
