Well, the joke is on them. I don’t see a way Auburn wins that game

Bama job is terrible for lots of reasons but expectations are totally out of whack
One loss and they freak

What makes Bama a better job than LSU? Seriously?

I thought the company line form the Bama people was that “Lane would never be the HC of Bama.”
Supposedly burned too may bridges while he was there.

Come on man. There aren’t many jobs that are more prestigious than LSU, but Alabama is definitely in that small group.

Man the thought process to fire him after the two seasons he’s had is crazy to me. Hasn’t even had time to have a bad year.
Posted on 11/24/25 at 8:53 am to JasonDBlaha
Fire him? I think he's done a good job this year.

Does prestigious mean better? Interesting talking point imo

No way Bama fires DeBoer and if they do and we lose Kiffin you bring DeBoer in.

You took a Joseph Goodman column seriously, and you're calling other people embarrassing?

They’ll fire him next year if he fails to make the playoffs in ‘25 and ‘26.

Maybe it’s the number of National Championships, all time wins and bowls, All Americans, drafts picks, Blue Blood history and that pesky over 60% win percentage over Lsu… but yeah other than that not better at all…

Are you the same “Chad” that posts as an LSU fan?
Posted on 11/24/25 at 9:10 am to Chad4Bama
Lol ok.. keep telling yourself that. Lane at LSU after year one would crush deboer. But deboer is a solid coach.
Posted on 11/24/25 at 9:12 am to JasonDBlaha
Well bama ain’t losing to one of the worst Auburn teams in the last 20 years.

I like it. 230 posts worth of bravado and we're jumping right in to the deep end of retardery.

Zero legacy potential
Everything is named.
LSU has tons of potential for naming, statues, walks, etc

That's silly. I'd much rather have DeBoer than Kiffin as HC...not even close.
Wait what???? Look LSU may not get Kiffin. And Kiffin might shite the bed. But to say you’d rather DeBoer over Kiffin is laughable at best because he’s already suit the bed. All this “losing to Auburn” talk from your side proves it. Oh well if we lose and have three loses on the year and no playoff birth I’ll be fine with that. God have the mighty have fallen.

No different than how they've acted the last 15 years. Whenever the topic of who would take over after Saban would come up they'd always think it'd be the next biggest coach in the country. For a while it was Dabo, then Kirby.
