Yep. Players can get their cut now. It’s annoying all the jockeying for a bigger deal but damn these players are getting some honestly earned money. It’s so new and evolved from the conventional way but it was only a matter of time before the exploitation would end. It’s just gone too far the other direction now. Players hold all the power. Need to find a happy median and find some kind of way to cap it where it comes down to the school and not the money.
Flipping transfer players is kind of new no? I just can’t remember ever hearing that before.

Missing spring of a first year offense install is a bad thing if you’re a qb.
This is so confusing because I was trying to think how is this going to limit the big pocket schools from dropping bags of cash to beat out opponents. A cap of sorts would. So if TT is hell bent on spending 5 million for qb you are capped overall? Closest thing you can get to a salary cap. But it has to be enforced which likely won’t be.

I still don’t understand the point of the clearing house evaluation. From what I understand Sorsby was in the 2-3 million range I would assume. TT almost doubles that and it’s all good. What’s the point of the fair market value?
With that kind of money you can buy a lot of plane tickets for your girlfriend.
Chambliss is the perfect bridge during a trial and error year. There will be some growing pains next year and having that stability would be a great luxury. I say you pay him but don’t overpay him.

Crazy how this is a problem now that it’s transparent. You don’t think big name players “extorted” teams for their commitment back in the day? Recruiting your roster is an unfortunate by product of the times.
Once settled in I’d say playoffs every other year at worst.
I’m not sure why simply SC isn’t used more. I know technically it is USC but I think USC I think Los Angeles not South Carolina. Is it meant to be an insult than a clarification? Honest question
He’s not wrong. It’s corny as frick. He’s certainly could have taken the high road. But Lane is living in their heads now.
The abbreviation game should have left with Brian Kelly along with the backwards “L.”

Why would Kiffin be talking to one of Knox’s friends about signing a player and admitting to tampering with. Nothing would happen but there is just too much about this that makes no sense. I say this is an OM fan/student just trying to generate more BS storylines. Tampering happens all the time but this situation is just too dumb.
It’s pretty favorable. Most of the toughest games are at home. Biggest road test is Tenn.

Wasn’t Stallions his right hand man? Would be a bad look to hire him back after that fiasco.
Dillingham’s name keeps coming up in all these coaching searches but we keep getting told by many he’s not leaving ASU. I doubt he leaves for Michigan but I don’t think there is any way he is still there after next season. Someone will provide him the tools he doesn’t have at ASU and I believe he goes.
Can we kill the CLK abbreviation before that becomes a thing while we’re at it? Simple Lane or Kiffin isn’t too much to spell out is it?
So he got beat by our new head coach (that’s why he’s here) and an outlier game. Why don’t we ignore the rest of the games where his defense was shut down and even gave this team a sliver of hope to win. Not to mention on the field in most cases 2/3 of the game.
Because even a blind man could see that was the peak and it was all down from there.

This whole situation looks better and better that LSU missed out on him. This is going to be every year until he is drafted.
