Give them 72 hours before taking to portal or making a rash decision. So by Saturday night bama according to Saban will have a new coach. Sunday could be the field day for BK and BO Davis to hit this thing running. Just need 1 or 2 DL to come.

We should be all over their kids right now.

I get they greatly respect him, but why should they listen to his demands now that he’s not their coach anymore? Plus he abandoned them.

Saban doesn't give a shite what happens to Bama now.

This doesn’t sound like Bama had a coach ready to go. Sounds more like he didn’t want them to make rash decisions and to give Alabama admin time to have a plan, but if they don’t have a plan in 72 hours, reevaluate.

This seems like he’s giving them wisdom because the whole thing could go off the rails if they don’t have a firm direction in 72 hours.

shite on that. He would be first in line to tamper with another school's players during a coaching change. He did it with LSU two years ago.

That’s a little extreme. It’s not like he left town in the middle of the night to coach the Dolphins.

Doubtful.. I'm sure he will be in regular attendance at games and such if he doesn't get some sort of media gig.

I can see him being a "Skip Bertman"

That means they have had their guy already. Saban told AD that he was retiring and the AD has had somebody lined up for a week at least.

I think the the best opportunities will come from the fallout from the team that loses their coach to Bama.

I see him as a lock for next AD, unless he’s truly done and just wants to relax.

I’d bet dollars to donuts you couldn’t be anymore wrong.

His legacy is that both LSU and Bama stay at or near the top because he rebuilt the programs to last.

Well I can assure you that he isn’t going back. I’m watching an interview of him right now.
But you also have to listen to Reece Davis

If they are going to want to start in their new school for the Spring, they need to get in the portal immediately. Don't most schools start next week if they haven't already?
