It wasn’t great, but wasn’t nearly as bad as people here are saying. ...
Idk how popular it will be around here, but if he goes the mellow route for the next 4 months he wins in an absolute landslide.
He’ll get 56% of the popular vote at least. It’s right there for him to runaway with this thing. There is nothing on the Democrat side at all that can sto...
It seems that Dem pols, pundits, and the media are delusional. Either Kamala or Newsom would be a total wipeout for Dems. They have to stick with Biden. He will lose, but he’s their best shot to not be totally destroyed. The Dems don’t have a single viable candidate that can get past 200 electora...
I don't like Tennessee at all, but if they can keep Aggies from going on and on about how great they are, I'm all for it. Well done. ...
Saw this yesterday and enjoyed it. Like others thought, wasn’t a fan of Hardy’s performance. I think everyone’s getting burned out on his “badass” roles. Would like to see him do more stuff like Locke and Inception. Butler was solid as always, don’t really get the hate for him. He’s been grea...
That was a few years later, but man, LSU basketball from 1985-1991 was absolutely glorious. You can go back to 1981 too, but then there were 4 pretty lean seasons. But from the beginning of the 85-86 season until Shaq left it was such a drama filled roller coaster of emotion. ...
That was probably LSU's most inspiring BB team ever.
I was a kid and that team and that tournament run was the stuff of dreams. It could have been that Horford and Wilson would have made the team more athletic and talented, but maybe they wouldn't have had the chemistry and fir...
St. Augustine, Florida is fantastic. South Beach is amazing. People come from all over the world to go there. The beach is great as well. Water is blue and sand is just fine. All of the South Florida area on the Atlantic side is good. I'd rank it over the Tampa area. But, there are also amaz...
Horford was 7'1", 245 and went to Miami and averaged 14 points and 9 rebounds per game. Wilson was 6'8" and averaged 15 points and 7 rebounds per game. Horford was kicked off the team right before the season started and Wilson was declared academically ineligible halfway through the season. ...
Nola could be second if they didn’t split off Hammond, Slidell-mandeville-Covington areas.
Then Greenville and Spartanburg, SC should be lumped together. They are pretty close. That would keep the Upstate as #2....
This team has been disparaged and disregarded all year by fans and media alike. Now, they’re blowing out the Mavericks and are ready for a sweep. How many media members picked Dallas to win? I’ve never seen a team this dominant all season in a major sport be this disparaged by media and fans. Ve...
I timed my son a few months ago who ran track in college. 200m and 400m, so more endurance than a sprinter. But, he was still fast. Ran in the 4X100 relay team too. The day I timed him he ran a 4.65. Didn’t have cleats and didn’t warm up much though. And, it was about 6 months after his track season...
I never want to hear anyone from LSU say “sissy blue” again. Still having bad vibes from the last time that blew up in our face. ...
This is silly. I've never "trusted" Hollywood, nor do I know anyone who ever has. If movies are good, well done, marketed well, and have content people want to see, they will go see it. There are too many options for entertainment these days for people to just "go to the movies" to see whatever ...

Why do you hate the Celtics?

Posted by AlaTiger on 5/25/24 at 10:54 pm
I’m a big Celtics fan. Have been for years. But, I see people saying they HAAAATE the Celtics. Why? I’m genuinely curious. No thugs on the team. Seem to play as a team together. They haven’t been winning championships, so it’s not like you’d be sick of them winning. Why the hate?...
I’m old enough to remember people bashing him all season right after winning a national title. Maybe he knows what he’s doing and the Tiger Rant doesn’t?...
This is impossible. You have to be citizen to vote, which could not happen in that amount of time, and Biden can’t declare amnesty anyway. Congress has to vote for that. There is no legal way to do this. Now, if your theory is that Biden/Dems will work out a way for illegal immigrants to vo...

re: Is Civil War any good?

It’s pretty good. It’s seen through the eyes of journalists, but I don’t know why that’s a problem. ...
They still don’t get it. Neither Rey nor Daisy Ridley playing her were the problem. That they still don’t understand that shows how out of touch they remain. ...
Crazy - Would’ve won 2 with Celtics had Kendrick not gotten hurt.
Would have win 3 if KG hadn’t gotten hurt in 2009 and if Ray Allen could have hit the broad side of a barn in Gm 7 in 2010. That said, Doc Rivers is terrible. Always has been....
