Who is our 2026 QB?

Are we going to grab a top recruit or portal QB? Someone on the roster already?

It was really good. I had low expectations, but I was really surprised and enjoyed it a great deal.

The only thing that really made them “country bumpkins” was their accent, though. Jonathan had good wisdom for Clark. Martha seemed to know what was going on. Their accents were mid-South, not Kansas, though.

Naz is lowkey a top 10, maybe top 5 hardwood Tiger ever.

I loved Naz Reid at LSU and pull for him in the NBA and think he’s really good. But, top 10 LSU Tiger ever?

Here are some to consider.

Pistol Pete
Chris Jackson
Shaq
Bob Pettit
Glen Davis
Rudy Macklin
Ricky Blanton
Don Redden
Tyrus Thomas
Brandon Bass
John Williams
Nikita Wilson
Howard Carter
Stromile Swift
Darrell Mitchell
Garrett Temple
Tasmin Mitchell

Naz Reid was a great Tiger and has had a really good NBA career. I don’t think he’s a top 10 Tiger ever though.
If you’re adding it at the table, it’s way too salty. Add it while you’re cooking so it can all marry together and blend it from the heat and it’s much better and a more even flavor.

My mind immediately went to Rickey Jackson when I saw this, and my childhood self got sad again.
Saw it last night. Packed theater. It was really good on the big screen. I recommend it. The dialogue is wonky in places, but be story is incredible. And the light saber battles on the big screen are worth the price of admission.
Fonzie from Happy Days

People said Kevin, from The Office. But, also Creed.

Eric Matthews is one of the best examples of this. Total change.
So, if they got paid what they were worth, they’d have to pay to play in the WNBA?

But the final talk with Johnny and Kreese was honestly an award worthy performance by Zabka imo. What an amazing arc 40 years in the making for him to absolutely nail that scene. Lot of truth and pain revealed in that moment and ultimately strength. Made the whole thing worth it. Zabka and Kove both delivered big there.

Yes. Excellent. I thought after that scene that we’ve been robbed for 35 years not seeing Zabka in more movies. He’s a legit great actor. That scene was incredible.

And seeing Kreese with a redemption arc was good too.

This is the correct answer. Worst scene ever. The cowardice. Makes me sad and angry at the same time. Dude. DO SOMETHING!

Just awful. That affected me.

I’m telling you what my park ranger friend has been saying is going to happen and how many people he knows has lost their jobs. Believe what you want. You’re a know it all on a message board. I didn’t realize your level of expertise in the matter.
Oh, so you trust movie reviewers. Gotcha.

It was a lot better than people are saying. Not Civil War good or anything, but better than Captain Marvel.
Have you seen it, or are you just posting YouTube reviews?
It’s absolutely happening. I’m friends with a park ranger and he’s posting a lot of stuff from his friends. These folks are all Trump supporters, by the way, and they are in shock. Some of the best rangers are being cut and there is no rhyme or reason to it. Just straight cuts and it’s getting everyone.

Good luck going to National Parks this year.
Just saw it. I was prepared for it to be terrible and it was actually pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t one of the best MCU movies, but it was far from the worst.
High energy and could jump out the gym. Would love to have a player like him every year.
That's really awful when you think about it. Tax free education and tax free pay for play, all so the football team can have a recruiting advantage. And, a lot of people will cheer this on who don't have close to what these players now have and have to pay taxes on what they earn.

We provide tax incentives to industries that are bringing new jobs into the state because that will increase tax revenue in the long run. What is the benefit to the people of Georgia for Georgia to land that 5 star QB over Tennessee or Alabama? Are they saying that college recruits bring in more revenue to the state (not just the university), and thus, more jobs?

I'd love to see an economic analysis of this bill.

Why is CGI so bad now?

Posted by AlaTiger on 2/1/25 at 10:03 pm
Saw the new Captain America trailer and it looks like a Disney+ show in its presentation. The CGI seems terrible everywhere.

Watched the first Gladiator movie recently and the CGI was really good. And that was over 20 years ago. Why has it gotten worse lately?
Wrong. It started here. Those here at the time remember and we were all excited when it went mainstream.
