Didn't Deion tell the Colorado players that he was going to replace most of them before he got there? I think I recall that.

Just a housecleaning for a 1-11 team in a weak conference.

Oh my. CO football players suddenly realize they have to play football and not be a part of a Hollywood Production. Oh my.

The WR that left had 150 yards receiving and 2 TDs in the spring game. They also had 1-2 big recruits de-committ.

Against the third string. Don’t be fooled.

@ForeverGator, unless they had their 1st team Off running against their 3rd team Def, you’re incorrect. All 3 of the passes he caught were from Shedeur Sanders and I doubt he’s playing 3rd team O.

Th DBs on some of those pass plays must have been in line at the concession stand.

Prime has always been a self absorbed clown. Not surprised by this at all.

I’m sure he expected some of this. He’s bringing major culture change and old school discipline. Hopefully it works for him long term.

What’s with the dion Sanders’s hate? The guy is old school and has regularly placed the dei losers in their place. Also a man of God.

You don't roll into a program and declare your nepo-baby the starting QB and expect anyone to "buy in" to the new team culture. Especially after telling all the players that have been on the team they would be doing him a favor if they transfered. If he doesn't win quickly there it's going to turn toxic fast.

You do if you want the scholarships to go get your guys. He has 2-3 years to win. That should be plenty of time to get a roster full of top players. Deon has the name and can get those that don't know any better. Why grey shirt at Bama when you can start at Colorado?

It will be interesting to see how he does coaching at a more competitive level. Obviously, he's got a lot of charisma and will win most any press conference, but does that translate to long-term success?

The worst will be down the road when Deon leaves and they have to replace 80.

While he certainly needs to upgrade the talent, not sure how much upgrading he can achieve with the second portal window trying to replace 30 guys. Generally not the cream of the crop in that group. Mostly guys who saw they were not going to play after spring practice.
