Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports
Ed Orgeron and the LSU coaching staff received some great news on Thursday when talented four-star wide receiver JoJo Earle announced his commitment to the Tigers.

Earle, a 5-9, 170-pound prospect from Aledo, Texas chose the Tigers over offers from schools like Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, and many others.

Earle is rated the No. 5 rated wide receiver in the country for the class of 2021, according to ESPN.

The Tigers now have six players committed for the class of 2021 with the addition Earle.

Damn, that dude short and thin. I'm taller than him. I should have been a WR.

Aledo is a good connection to have. They had arguably the best HS RB in Texas history to come through there in Jonathan Gray, and also Their 5 star RB this year went to Bama.

I thought he'd be a burner for 5'9" 170. But he looks like a good player on his Junior highlight vid.

He reportedly ran mid 4.3's 18 months ago. He may be a little faster now.

LSU doesn’t “lose out” on DB prospects. They lose out when they don’t come to LSU. I actually feel that way about many position groups but especially the DB position and recent/past history would also suggest this.
