I sense you are on the verge of writing a novel or screenplay with this tale.
Up there.

It's never a good look at any level when your offense gives up more points than your defense and special teams combined.
I don't care if we don't win a game for the next five years.

You're AtM and will be treated accordingly.

In what world do we think we don't need to show up to play WKU?

We have trouble scoring points and completing passes against air.

Aren't you a ray of sunshine.
Thanks a lot, man. Now I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight after envisioning that horror show.
I doubt your ability to evaluate.

I'm not even defending him, but honestly, what head coach could turn this dumpster fire around in a few weeks?
This year, I'll take any size lead against anybody at any time as a victory.

Your honesty is a breath of fresh air, sir.
Putting everyone's bias aside, the hire was a big deal. On paper, LSU had just hired its most qualified coach in the school's history. The all-time winningest coach in Notre Dame history was on board. Of course, nobody here knew that he was coming to collect a check and not put in the hard work. So with that knowledge, it's not surprising it didn't work out.

Beware Bama friend, this is a new era of college football. The volatility of this sport is at a height never before seen. If you expect your coach to be there in five years, prepare to be disappointed. Y'all may be finding yourselves in the shoes of Florida, LSU, and Auburn sooner than you think.
Great, I've got the inside scoop to share with everyone in the break room at work tomorrow.
So much for being an institution of higher learning.

Perhaps, but what makes our 0-line situation difficult to swallow is that there were plenty of options in the portal from smaller schools. An upperclassmen could have been a better one-year option than our current right tackle and gotten on the cheap.
So if our starting right tackle this season can't touch the field next year, that automatically means we are worse as a unit? Couldn't it be that we added better players?

I think he's shell shocked and not dealing with failure well after so much personal success in the sport. It's a hard aspect of life and sports in general. Adversity can hit a person like a train and let's be honest, does anyone think he saw this disaster of a performance and season coming? It's not easy to deal with the reality of not being as good as you thought you were at something you love and get paid for doing.

I hope he and the players can somehow pull it together for next week.
