Quit going to Alabama or Florida.

Seriously, y’all need to find better beaches. Private beaches.

I prefer the beach because I don’t like the cold.

Mountains. No question, but I’ve only been to the Florida and Alabama beaches.

Mountains

Not sure what I hate more- sand or being hot

I take vacations to get away from hot weather, not the other way around

I go to the beach several times per year. I go to the mountains once every few years or so.

I will answer with mountains. I am awed and amazed by the scenery in the Swiss Alps.

Mountains. The beach would be so much better if it didn't have all that damn sand.

Mountains. I love to hike and enjoy the fresh air and beauty of the mountains.

I do like the sound and sight of the ocean and sometimes, the smell. I hate the heat and sand of the beach.

Beach. And it’s not even close.

for most of my life I was 100% beach. But the last few years have spent time visiting the NC mountains and it's now 50-50. Love both.

Any place that the mountains meet the sea but if I had to choose one, it would be the mountains.

Mountains. Beaches are boring, and I'm done after an hour or two unless it has tide pools...

I need mountains, I can live without beaches.

Live 2 blocks from the beach so all our vacations are out west to the mountains or desert.

Enjoy Chiang Mai. We just returned from Thailand. Bangkok, then down to a little island near Ranong. We got there pretty early before the season really gets going. We booked flights to Chiang Mai, but looked at each other and said, "Do we really want action in the north, or complete chill and nature here?" So we cancelled the flights and stayed for 3 weeks. Got home yesterday to cold, rainy Bavaria. To be on subject: there were a couple of mountains, but have fun getting up there with a machete. Good hiking, nice beach, great food and beer. Weed is legal. Would go back tomorrow...

Mountains, live in Florida all my adult life. Might go to the beach once or twice a year these days. We travel to the mountains several times a year.

Mountains in the summertime or mountains in the wintertime?
