I'm not big on the crowds and humidity of the beaches

Mountains in the Summer, beach in the Winter (further south obviously).

I like to escape the weather when I vacation. Fly off to the Caribbean before a snowstorm or go hiking in the mountains during a heat wave. It's kind of a guilty pleasure that makes you feel like you momentarily cheated your lot in life.

When I was younger it was the opposite. Hit the ski slopes in the Winter and party at the beach house in the Summer. I guess time changes a man. C'est la vie.

Mountains. 9.5/10 times.

I grew up on the coast, so pretty sure i'm just over the beach at this point.

I love mountains.

Mountains, but I enjoy our 1 beach trip a year. Took my family of 6 to Marion, NC for Thanksgiving. Best family vacation. My boys (6 and 4 y.o.) had a blast, and never complained with the hikes. That area is beautiful in the fall. I could retire there.

Beach, no contest. I love beach towns, so exploring them when we are not sitting in the sand is the next best thing to heaven for me. Not a fan of cold weather, and mountains tend to be located in places where it’s cold, so…

Mountains.

Beaches are boring and sand is like herpes, you never really get rid of it.
