Roosevelt

Roosevelt has always been top notch.

I was not impressed with the nonchalant service at NOPSI. Borderline ghetto service. That was eight years ago, so maybe it's improved.

I haven't stayed at the other two.

Melrose Mansion, Le Pavillon, and the Monteleone have been our recent stays.

NOPSI would be last on that list

Eliza and Virgin are more in the trendy category and both seem really nice to me having been inside both, but I have not been in a room

Roosevelt is old school upscale

I have spent a few nights in the Roosevelt and Eliza Jane. My preference is the Eliza Jane but you can’t go wrong with either.

Roosevelt is a great location and really nice.

Nopsi is crap. In area I would stay at the Higgins.

Never tried Virgin for a stay cation. Have grief a few fq hotels.

We're staying at Eliza Jane for a wedding in September. Any specifics about this place will be appreciated.

My wife and I were there late fall of last year. The room was very nice and the bed may have been the most comfortable I’ve slept in at any hotel. The bar area is set up really well with different types of seating areas scattered around. The lobby is connected to the bar area and set up the same way. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area which we enjoyed but we easily walked wherever we wanted to go from there. As I said in my previous post we have also stayed at the Roosevelt. It’s a great place to stay as well because of the history of the place and the bars and restaurants in it. Our room was dated though and the location is pretty busy right off of Canal.

Eliza Jane if you want smaller more intimate place
Virgin had very cool rooms but more a party vibe
Roosevelt lobby can be a zoo to get around

Roosevelt.

We were there last weekend and I did not know you could purchase a $50 day pass to sit by their pool. Take that for what its worth

Roosevelt if you want a more traditional hotel. Virgin if you want something newer and trendy.

NOPSI is kinda ghetto these days. Eliza Jane is ok but i found the rooms a little too small.
