Today they opened up the largest United club in the world, and I had the privilege of hanging out in there for the past hour

… they had a brisket carving station, incredible salad bar, multiple soups, chilies, multiple sandwich stations, an entire snack bar, a central oval shaped bar that’s about 80 feet long on each side…. The food spread looked like a damn cafeteria with all the options in there, it was absolutely phenomenal

I’m not posting pictures because there’s a frick ton already online and I will tell you those are not AI. It literally looks just like those.

Being based at DEN, I was spoiled with United's 2 huge brand new lounges. Looking forward to trying this one when I connect.

I was in new Terminal C on Tuesday and could see into it from Gate 15 area. Looks freaking amazing. Disappointed my trip was 2 days ahead of the GO

I didn't realize it was what they were building on that side of C, I thought in addition to B they were extending the new C terminal.

Corpus Christi has an outdoor patio right beside the brewery outlet where you can drink beer and watch the planes land/takeoff.

Who cares about clubs
Goal is to get in and out of the airport as quickly as possible

When you're a domestic wage slave flying to Oklahoma City and Birmingham on the regular, sure.

I fly a ton for work, a ton. I can count on one hand in 5 years how many times I’ve had any real time to spend in these clubs

They seem completely useless for my travels. Do that many people consistently have long layovers? Like to check into their home airport hours early? I just don’t get it

I like them.

I was just in Delta’s club at JFK this past weekend. It was nice,

agreed, but they are the most convenient from lafayette to fly where i need. the woke agenda is visible with all the gate agents, bag handlers, flight attendants.

I used to think that until I spent a few hours in the United Polaris lounge in Dulles last year. Not all lounges are created equal, by any means. A nice one makes flying an infinitely better experience than hanging out in general pop.

If you're flying between city pairs that have frequent connections, you aren't going to benefit as much vs. someone else.

MSY to JAX on Delta with 10+ flights a day between them...rarely will you have time to use the club.

BTR to MSN on Delta...for certain.

Well that settles it then, shut em down. lsupride from Covington doesn’t use lounges while flying back and forth to his client to count inventory so they’re useless

Mingo you ok?

For those that use them frequently, do you not have direct flights? Are you a worrier that likes to get to your home airport early?

Do you have client meetings that at unpredictable so you book a late flight and finish early with time to kill?

Trying to see what causes people to frequent these lounges . It’s a legit question
