Wouldn't that have been hilarious.

interesting how once again that wasn’t even called a foul real time

He slid studs up but he definitely made contact with the ball. It was the ball that sent his leg higher up into the Mexican player

His leg hit the ball it looked like.
Yeah after his spikes went through the Mexican's leg

That has been a red card for literally all of time
Only reason that got a card is because his foot landed on top the ball instead of in front.

Gotta say I never thought England would be the first red card in this game.

I hate the Mexicans so much.

How was that not off Quinones?

Kane getting Mexican by proxy. Rolling around on the ground like that after a nothing challenge.
Shame
Shame

Looked like the balogun challenge. No intent
Key difference is this was a point of contact call. The balogun one was based on the follow through

The difference is Balogun didn't slide.
If you slide, studs up and connect that high on the leg, it's a red every time.

I don't know the exact rule of a red card, but he was making a play on the ball and it didn't look malicious.
It’s been pretty clear throughout the tournament that you don’t have to show intent. Anything to put the opposing player in danger is gonna get you a card. Just have to hope they see it in real time and give you a yellow. If they go back to slow mo with VAR they are going to give you a red.

Are you blind?
He got the ball so much his entire leg slid over it.

Point your toe and don’t show the cleats, that’s the difference, a cleat to the leg is dangerous which is why it’s red.

Happens all the time. It’s always a red.

Are they back to not caring about the puto chant? That was like the 3rd one

That's bullshite. Hate soccer for those calls. His leg slid over the ball.. nothing he could do. It was a total accident.
Doesn’t matter if it’s an accident. You absolutely can’t slide with studs up like that. Good way to break someone’s leg.
Hate it for England, but that’s not a debatable call
