If you had told me they’d be up a goal without playing Doku, De Bruyne, or Lukaku…

That's the scary part...those guys won't miss the chances the scrubs did in the first half. Lukaku would be on a hat trick if he started

because our player pool just isn’t there yet.

That’s what we said in 2010. Wake me up in 2040.

We literally did more than that this year lol

I mean only because of the expanded format.

Prior tournaments we’d be playing Morocco in the round of 16.

We ain’t winning that

I can’t recall a single Belgium goalie long ball that we won.

We should have worn our rainbow kits. That would have really helped.

They got me again with this bullshite. Still amateur status. Until we develop something other than kicking the ball backwards…this nation will never be anything in Soccer. That was fricking embarrassing effort on home soil.

What do you expect?

College football and the NFL are the two kings of this country. Even though I hate CFB for what it is now and my interest in it keeps dwindling year after year, people still like it for whatever reason.

Reyna?

With how physical Belgium have been, he’d lose the ball every time.

That’s been his biggest issue for his entire career

I can’t tell at times if Pulisic is actually a stud or if he’s kind of the “manufactured star” of this time.

IMO, Donovan and Dempsey were way better (at least in international play)

Robinson is the only player who’s putting in effort
I wouldn’t congratulate anyone on their first half play, but he doesn’t look scared or out of sorts like just about everyone else

Doku will score.
We do NOT have an answer for him…

player pool
The outcome we're watching is more mental than technical and there's more than enough tape in this tournament alone to prove the technical quality

Unfortunately tonight we're absolute headcases and the moment is too big. You give these players the mentalities of the 2014 team and we'd be fine

Admittedly, I’m not a soccer guy. But it seems like if the US committed to just play a little more physical it would make a difference. Belgium seems totally comfortable in what they are doing

At least it would be someone different losing the ball every time

It's mental for sure. The moment was too big for them in 1H

Agree.

They are missing on easy things they’ve had no problem with.

Would be fighting half the locker room right now for that first half performance.
