I watched about 4 of their WC qualifiers. It was about half of the A team. Off of the top of my head missing were:

CM from Real Madrid (I'm getting old :casty:)
De La Cruz Winger
Darwin ST
Pellistri (Sp?) ST

Fox Sports Americas in the 90’s with the Argentine game of the week with Marcelo Arajo (sp?) is still the GOAT. No one has ever came close to that guy.

The positive:

Uruguay were missing some players but had a lot of top notch players starting. Barça, Man U, Flamengo, etc. The difference with the US.....passion. This group gives a frick. You could tell vs Paraguay. I don't care what club you play for, you have to play for the badge.

The biggest indictment watching this fiasco.......hustle. The one thing you want to see is hustle. The Celtics B team played with fire. Sans Jose, the team played like Willie, soft as baby shite.
