If no one in the US team stands out at center forward and everyone is healthy, do we just roll out Pulisic or Weah at the 9?
Ferreira, Pepi, Pefok, Hoppe, and Sargent have all been given time. Next up is Dike and maybe even a Jozy reunion tour. But none of them are at the quality of our other starters.

Can someone tell me how we’re going to score in the World Cup?
That’s my bigger takeaway from all of this, apart from getting the young generation the experience of actually going through qualification, and qualifying, it’s hard to point to many positives on the field.
I’m not sure you can really make a case for this group growing and advancing in terms of a style of play from the first game to the last one. They’re so underserved by gregggg.

Outside of the 4 goals at Honduras, we scored 1 goals in the other 6 away qualifying matches. Let’s pray our form in Qatar is more home form than away

My thoughts:
Limping into WC>>>>not qualifying.
We have two major issues in my opinion:
1. Lack of striker. Who produces goals for us?
2. Lack of player who is full of heart and energy. Gone are the days of Jermaine Jones, Cobi Jones, Tab, Claudio. We need a player full of America. Weston is the closest we have.
Two key things are:
1. We have a left back in Robinson who is a stud. He’s gonna do great in the EPL next year. Everton of course sold him three years ago, but that’s another tale of woe.
2. We have young studs in Pulisic, Weston, Gio, Dest, Weah. Future is bright if we can find another piece or two.
Friday is the draw. No whammie no whammie.

We would concede 100 goals in 3 group games under Bielsa

Hearing Gio Reyna say he was “in his mom’s belly” when his dad was playing in the 2002 World Cup

If the US doesn’t advance to the second round, I’m curious who the next coach will be.

Just missing a world class striker up front and a world class GK in the back. No biggie.

Probably so but we would be fun as frick to watch. We are not winning the World Cup so why not watch a proper match instead of boring arse Gregg ball.

Haha, I was just a little younger than Gio is now, watching his dad play in 2002.

Mexicans celebrating finishing above us on the table
ETA our US Instagram posts are flooded with them bragging for some reason, even though they also finished behind Canada lol.

This optimism didn’t win at all. Literally picked the opposite of everything.
