I can only imagine the atmosphere in that building in favor of Mexico will be comparable to a cross between a night college football playoff game in Death Valley meets the Nuremberg Rallies. Being an England fan in that building… good lord. Truly might be in physical danger in there.

The longing of England to return to World Cup glory together with the national pride and collective sorrow of the Mexican people… imagine it. This is going to be a once in a generation type of match up. What a beautiful game it is.

Would be an all time experience to be in that stadium. England fans legit may be in danger leaving the stadium if Mexico loses.

Hopefully some of these British people that are doing those vlogs, will vlog their experience going to this match.

Have any of you heard anything about the kick-off time being moved due to weather concerns?

It was more safety concerns but it sounds like they’re sticking with the 7pm (6pm in Mexico City) start

Go Mexico! Remind the Brits why they lost 250 years ago!

In before someone yells at me for cheering for Mexico.

I am NOT cheering for Mexico..

I am cheering against England on the day we celebrate our independence from them. I only wish we were playing them.

So the game being on the 5th changes your allegiance?

I'm just not sure this mentally fragile England team can overcome the atmosphere. They are miles more talented than this Mexico team, but that doesn't seem to matter much in Azteca.

I was in Mexico City over Thanksgiving and drove by the Azteca on the way to another site - that place is a massive fortress.

The game is tomorrow. My hatred for El Tri surpasses my patriotic dislike of all that england stands for. I hope Harry Kane gives them a dos a cero

Should stream it live just for evidence in case of any problems

honestly i'm with you. it's gonna be an absolute zoo in there. they struggled with Doctor Congo, what the hell are they gonna do when they show up in Azteca? It takes some serious mental strength and if Mexico comes out like they did last game, good luck.

on the other hand, if england can survive the first 25 minutes they are the more talented team.

I thought it was safety concerns due to weather (lightning delays, etc). Was it something else?

Think they’re worried about postgame scenes. 4 people apparently died in the celebrations after the ecuador game. It takes a lot of security to escort the visiting fans out after the game plus Mexico City after dark.

But im glad they are keeping it a night game. Should be a great scene.

It may legit be the craziest scenes for a World Cup game ever. England playing in the altitude in a very hostile stadium against a team that is in excellent attacking form is a recipe for disaster for them.

This is truly a meteor game though. On one hand England catching L’s in North America is a time honored tradition, on the other hand Mexico losing at home in that environment would be hilarious.

I hate both of these teams, but I think I hate Mexico more.

I'd like England to blow the doors off of them, but I think Mexico puts an all time embarrassment on the Three Lions in that environment. Probably 4-1.
