Are they the official fan club of US Soccer? Do they have a true structure? What is the funds they get used for?

A bunch of cosplaying homos.
All funds go to rainbow flags and anal beads

The exact opposite of actual outlaws. The gayest group of losers ever assembled. They’re a national embarrassment

They’re so fricking gay and try so hard to be what they feel soccer fans should.

You nailed it. They fricking suck. The only redeeming quality is that they show up, but they are not the people who should be representing the fans of our national team. Their cheers are arse, and they think they are much more important and liked than they really are.

I used to go to gatherings probably 8-10 years ago or so... they're lame, and weird.

not to repeat an earlier post of mine verbatim, but 95% of the AO’s are literal communists who would prefer us to lose sovereignty than get a result Friday

for anyone turned off by AO, I'd highly recommend looking into Barra 76. I've hung out with the Dallas chapter a few times, and their philosophy and approach to supporter culture couldn't be more different.

Don’t mind AO however the songs/chants are horrendous.

There's more then anal beads, they also provide lube and bandanas

let me step in here
I started the BR chapter in 2011 and have run it/ assisted it since then. Most of the original members were from this board
are their douches in AO- hell yes I have had many issues with some of the national leadership over the years, and some of them are downright cringy.
but 95% of us are just regular dudes who get together at a bar to watch the games, especially for areas like us where games dont happen close by a lot
I'm not at our bar standing on tables and screaming nonstop, Im a 52 year old fat guy- it would be ridiculous.
some chants can be weird. but every supporters group of every club and country has them, its not unique to AO
i think AOBR is very low key, I just want people to come watch the matches in large groups. I have plenty of videos from 2014 and 2022 showing how fun the crowd can be
come out to Court to Table this Friday and hang out

I would think its a pretty good assumption that AOBR and AO-Portland are probably two very different animals.

I think a lot of the AO chapters in the southeast are probably pretty similar to the dudes on this board. The AO chapter in big cities are all flaming homos

I remember around 2012 I got some shirt from AO and literally canceled that moment. I was out of HS a few years so I wasn't old. While I follow the sport I haven't been as avid about it since then.

Damn, coming from a soccer fan that's quite the indictment.

I used to be VP of my local chapter a few WC cycles ago..... then they made a hard turn into being a leftist political org and I resigned and never went back. My local chapter didnt have shite to do w the political crap, but I got embarrassed associating w the AO name.
They are holding watch parties this year at my favorite brewery...will prob be there for most matches.
