It was a bad call at the time. Numerous sources said VAR was misapplied during the red card review. This is how FIFA corrects bad calls. How is this biased but the initial bad call wasn’t?
Separately it would be weak shite if Belgium was whining about this. Hoping to win because of a BS suspension to an opposing player is weak-minded. As a U.S. fan I wouldn’t be rooting for the opposing to be reinstated but I also wouldn’t be crying about it. If we’re better we should beat them on the field.

Yes, that will show em! LOL, quit and take the loss. You are an emotional little man.

I’m sure if something similar happened to Doku you would be saying that.
I absolutely would not be telling the US to refuse to play the game, lol. That is a ridiculous reaction.

I thought he was joking and implying that Belgium should forfeit the game, which would advance the U.S. to the quarters, but no, he was actually serious it seems.

It’s funny the way you effeminate males think.
You must be Canadian.

The Venezuelan VAR ref being allowed to do the game was WRONG. Then they looked at all the SHIRT PULLS not called, and the 2 Pens (one a kick to the shin not reviewed) and the other, the easier to call, when Balogun hit the cross bar, as he moved in, he had his shirt pulled, stretching out 2 to 3 feet, go watch it. He did not even review it.
It was a clear pen all day long.

Belgium should immediately appeal this decision. FIFA is not hiding its corruption. You can’t just change the rules when you feel like it.
They can, and they do.
It's all about the Benjamins.

How many times has it been done for Ronaldo (both of them), Messi, etc

There have been some stupid suggestions made on TD. This one might be the most stupid of all.

You don't even know what you are talking about do you?
If you are on trial, and they never read you your Miranda rights, and you talked and talked, without knowing your rights, the Courts have to set you free. There are RULES within RULES so to speak.
FIFA put a Venezuelan ref on the VAR (WHAT? That is insane)
Well, guess what that VAR ref did, he broke FIFAs rules, he stated with a Freeze Frame of a bent foot, that is straight up BS and illegal. The on field ref can ask for a freeze frame, but he must watch it in real to ne speed first. THAT BROKEN PROTOCOL is why the suspension was overturned, imho. FIFA thinks if the ref had seen the real time footage first he may have stayed with his on field decision.
The Venezuelan ref also passed on 2 reviews for pens, the first a kick to the shin, that I agree was not enough, but NO REVIEW, The 2nd one I only saw on highlights, when Balogun hit the cross bar, he barley got a foot to the ball, but as he was moving in, av guy from behind, in the box, pulled his shirt, it stretched out 2 to 3 feet, NO REVIEW again, that was a 100% pen. I think FIFA understood they should have never had a Venezuelan ref on the VAR and that he was trying to screw the USA and he might have said as much to other people.
BUT.......He broke protocol, since you can ever know what the on field ref may have called if he saw the real time video first, you have to do away with the suspension.
