Yeah, we just wanted to go to Atlanta as a group for one match since it's the closest drive. No way we enter the secondary market, seems like FIFA is going to be taxing that too.

there's no way these prices hold up.
I think there's going to be some outrage and if you wait until closer to kickoff, you'll likely be able to buy tickets for much cheaper.
We're goign to be near Boston for the first week, so i think i'll just look to buy them the day of the game and if i can't then oh well, just won't go, which is a shame b/c i've been looking forward to goign to a world cup game for 4 years now, and so have my 14 and 12 year old soccer playing boys.
frick Fifa.

Hope so.

I paid $20 to see USA vs Romania at the Rose Bowl in ‘94.

Still remember John Harkes hitting the post early on in that one. Romanian GK was dead to rights.

Can’t justify $330 or $410 per ticket to a group stage game where you don’t know the pairing. They’ve watered down the group stage so it likely won’t be a desirable game and that’s a ton of money to go see two lower tiered teams, World Cup or not. Agree with the other post above I can’t see these prices holding once the pairings come out and if they do I just won’t go. Disappointing but it is what it is.

You mean you don't want to see Cape Verde vs Slovenia?

nah, i'd much rather see Morocco play Uzbekistan, or Bolivia against Jordan

It's ridiculous that they are even trying to sell tickets right now to the group stage games. It makes no sense. I can see selling the finals, semi-finals, even the quarter-finals, but what's the point of buying tickets to a game where you have no idea who's playing?

Got denial email.

For those who were selected and got tickets - did you pick multiple cities or just one when you made your entry?

I also got one but honestly I planned on waiting to see the matchups before I bought any tickets. Hopefully demand stays low and the dynamic pricing reduces things when the games get closer.

I think ticket prices drop towards the summer
The US is not easy or enticing to travel to for foreigners and
FIFA will never get out of their own way.
