Wow, you should write them and tell them what you have discovered. Of course them "mentioning" it means it is going full speed ahead with no feasibility studies or anything. Nobody has a way to obtain your knowledge. Tell them!

Bizarre response.

Interesting idea. Would the amount of earthquakes up there be a danger for an undersea tunnel?

There isn’t a road or railroad within a thousand miles in either country.

Everyone out there flys or goes by boat.

You are right, there are no roads from Fairbanks or Anchorage to the straight.

I'd rather we put a line in to go from Seattle to Juneau.

The 70-mile tunnel would be built under the Bering Strait and unlock joint exploration of natural resources, a Kremlin envoy has suggested.

The engineering and construction would be truly monument and revolutionary. But it could be done.

If you're into conspiracy theories, there is already supposedly an underground contiguous tunnel from D.C. all the way to L.A. that uses a train that can transverse the distance in 37 minutes. Several former DARPA employees have claimed that it's been in place for a long time. But I digress.

I think diplomatic cooperation is the true bridge that can finally unite the US and Russia in common goals, in spite of the global powers-that-be (including within their own respective governments) being hellbent on keeping us wanting to destroy one another. The mutually beneficial possibilities are limitless.

I’m not sure. You would need much more development on the Russian side, that area is desolate and there’s no all weather roads connecting the few small towns in the region most travel is by small plane. The tunnel would require a good highway leading to more populated areas of Russia to be significant. Probably go to Amadyr then a highway connecting to the Kolyma highway to Magadan. But that’s basically a 2,000 mile or so drive across vast nothing, no gas, no hotels, no restaurants. Ain’t nobody doing that

Think of all the countries we could drive to once we’re able to drive to Russia

Best road trip ever

I guess the Oregon Trail and Continental Railroad were worthless to our countries growth and economic prowess. Not one ever decided to settle along the trail or railroad and build out towns to support migration, trade and movement of information. Complete waste of time and effort

That's ridiculous

Now, Abe Lincoln was a vampire slayer. That's stone cold facts.

An alliance of common interests between the US and Russia is the only thing to save Western Culture from the current coordinated invasion.

You could theoretically drive to Europe, Asia, or Africa. If Russia would let you cross their shitey land

It could be argued that the globalists stopped it

Wonder why the globalists don’t want us & Russia to be closer
