How about we let a victims family member kill one of the family members of the shooter?

Not to mention statistically guns save more lives than they take

How dare you be willing to sacrifice the lives guns protect over your hatred of the 2nd amendment

Glad to know your willing to sacrifice your loved ones over that

I hope we killed the fricker back and severely punish anyone who knowingly or negligently aided in the process.

What gun control stance would have prevented the vast majority of mass shootings? The same ones we employ in Chicago and Dayton and other mass killing meccas that are the most gun controlled places in the country?

frick you and your concern signaling bullshite.

All i know is if im at the scene of one of these left wing radical killings, I better be the first mother fricker they put down...

Would you pontificate for the abolishment of alcohol if one of your loved ones was killed by a drunk driver?

Pretty much a requirement to argue Democrat talking points; either that or dishonesty

A relative was killed by concrete thrown at her. I'm not against the construction or use of concrete. There were two individuals responsible. Same goes for a gun. Who pulled the trigger?

Motive and the background is all irrelevant. Their decision, their action, their choice, and thus their consequences.

I’ve never owned a gun, never cared to own a gun, and quite honestly don’t like guns. But, people have the constitutional right to have them and that should never change.

I’d have no problem with banning or limiting access/ownership of assault weapons, though.

That was exactly the Dayton shooter's point. He gets what you're saying

Depends on the motive. If it's a mentally ill person, I would be pissed knowing there should, be in an honest setting, some limitations on them handling firearms.

However, I know damned good and well that is a slippery slope that the no soul Democrats would use to handicap people with opposing viewpoints. Like say, the FISC for example.

If it was a kid that was bullied and harassed and brought a gun to school and one of my kids were unintentionally gunned down, I would direct ire at both the shooter and ultimately the other kid(s) that drove someone into such a sad state that killing others was the only way they saw justice could be avenged.

My cousin was murdered in a car jacking by a third time offender 16 year old black kid with no father that had dropped out of high school. He stabbed him. Do you want to ban knives? How about black youth?

That trial and watching that kid and his family testify is the worst time period of my life. Not because my cousin was dead. But because of the extreme pity and sympathy I felt for his killer. I wanted to hate that kid. I wanted to hate him so much. But I couldn't. And that was the worst feeling of all. Watching them describe his life and circumstances and his mom cry on the stand as a character witness at the sentencing was disgusting.

You know what we should be outraged 24/7/365 about in this country? The state of black youth and their surroundings. And every single fricking one of them lives in a majority black district with a historically democratic leadership. And every time you try to help them their leaders cry racism an refuse to let you unlock their shackles.

Black youth aged 14-40 are responsible for 50% of the homicides in this country. Should black women have to have a background check and mental health exam before they're allowed to have children?

Banning a tool does literally nothing. At all. If some Psycho wants to hurt people he will do so.

The Oklahoma city bombing killed 162 people. Are you now an advocate for truck control? Want to ban all trucks? Want to require U-Haul to do a background check and mental health exam before renting?

3000 people were killed in 9/11. Are you an advocate for banning planes? Should anyone who buys a plane ticket need a background check and mental health screening?

I own two pistols, a rifle, and a shotgun. They were all lost last year in a boating accident. But if I wanted to replace them I assume I wouldn't be able to because having a family member killed in a mass shooting would be a red flag precluding me from buying a gun.

Same as it is now. I don't blame an inanimate object for what a person does. Every time you blame the gun, the NRA, Trump, you mitigate the responsibility of the person who is actually guilty of the crime.

That said, I'd want to kill the bastard who killed my family member. And I'd want it to hurt badly. But that's my own blood lust for vengeance. At that point I'm not interested in justice.
