Didn’t Trump Jr beg conservatives to call off the boycott after just a week.

I’m sure some listened to his plea and obeyed.

How about men be real men and drink whiskey. It’s what God would want.

And don’t be mixing that with coke. Ya pussies.

Is Bud Light cheaper than other similar beers? I don't drink so I have no idea.

Not really. I don’t buy BL but I think it’s about 9-10 for a 6 pack.

Most craft beer is 10-12.

There hasn’t been this much of a marketing frick up since New Coke. And this is worse. Because people revolted against New Coke bc they liked the actual product. Real men and real women know when they’re being mocked.

New Coke wasn’t a marketing decision. They needed to switch sweeteners from sugar to much cheaper high fructose corn syrup.New Coke (Coke II) was the off-tasting go between in the supply chain so that you couldn’t compare original Coke with “Coke Classic.”

I mean at this point you are just hurting low level workforce.

I personally won’t be drinking it, because there are just better options out there.

It’s not like I just switched to miller or coors light instead.

I don’t drink much beer so I don’t care either way but I think it’s pretty obvious the boycott was a major success.

We should take the W and move on.

Damn, I didn't realize this was a bump, I went into this thinking, "Oh, boy, is Bud Light trying out the tranny train again?"

Nope, the superbowl is pulling the tranny trick. It's pridebowl, yall.

They won’t drink that pisswater

The whole reason they had a tranny spokesthing was to try to get them to drink it

The thing is that most people who like that crappy beer are rational and don’t give a shite that a trans person appeared in an ad, regardless of what a genius like Kid Rock says. Nobody reasonable cares about something that they didn’t even see until someone threw a hissy fit.

They even brought in Peyton Manning to win over the general public again. I like Peyton, but no advertising whore will get me to drink Bud Light, no matter how much money they pay him.

And why not? It's idiots like you who screw up the protest effects. AB is a conservative company that stupidly trusted third party woke marketing people. They got burned badly by the protests, got the message, and reformed their advertising.

That is the point at which you should declare victory, lift the boycott and move on to the next one.

I don't know if you noticed but the woke movement is in retreat. The AB experience resonated throughout the corporate world.

this can't be said enough. don't get me wrong, they're still out there and going to continue to probe and find out where they can sneak in.

BL, Target, NHL, and MLB all had major retreats from previous years.

I work with a ton of Silicon Valley companies and they normally blast their whole page with rainbow garbage and request everybody put Rainbows on their LinkedIn.

This year it was one week of a rainbow logo for their main company page and then everything was back to normal.

I'm not saying to stop fighting it, but the pushback was real last year.

Dont bring rational thought into the discussion. According to the OP AB is now part of the new World Order Cabal. You will be drinking beer made from beetlejuice in your pod and like it.

It's truly sad so many people don't see this. It's as if they ignore the truth about this situation because they so desperately want to be angry at something. Again, zero comparison with the spice company and clothing companies that opening state their politics.
