First off, it's not that cheap. Basically, the same price as Miller Lite and several up and coming craft beers like Wolf Pup and Highland Daycation (both a thousand times better tasting). I think the craft breweries and the indy mexican beers are licking their chops over this stumble. The rainbow brigade as you call them never drank bud light to begin. The young people that did are the fratty sport types that will be put off by the image of the beer. So the young people this appeals to don't drink Bud light and the young people who do will not want to associate with this image.

I was a bartender on the side years ago. I've never ever seen anyone switch TO Bud Light. I've never seen anyone switch from Bud Light and then switch back.
It truly is a shite beer that people drank out of habit, they'd never tried anything else.

I’m a beer drinker; I don’t think I’ve ever purchased BL.
Jettisoning Corona will be a small adjustment (I enjoy an icy one with some lime from time to time).
But there are many other Mexican alternatives.

I would say you're wrong, but I witnessed many people swear off college and NFL football after the George Floyd fallout with wokeness/BLM propaganda infiltrating major universities and pro teams, only to watch them return right back to supporting the teams that despise them a few months later.

I truly believe I'm the only person alive that actually stuck to my guns on that issue. Since football walked away from me and I subsequently returned the favor, I've started a profitable side hustle from a long time hobby, and my fishing time/family time on the weekends has increased tenfold. It was a net win. But even to this day I can't seem to convince anyone that their lives will be better without it.

People are more willing to passively/actively support entities that despise them, than they are willing to break routines. The dust will settle, and people will be back drinking Budweiser products just like they went back to buying Saturday LSU Football tickets and overpriced, crappy concessions.

What this movement needs is a spokesperson too negotiate with ab
