Is it possible that this is all intentional, to drive stock prices down, so a small group of people can buy up AB stocks on the cheap and rebrand?

There's always an angle. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this shite was done intentionally for marketing reasons, that right now escape us.
I find it hard to believe this shite was done on a whim. Globo-corporations dump millions into market research before they do shite like this.

I think that the bud light trouble will last longer than a lot of these similar backlashes. Bud Lights target audience was middle aged men in the lower to upper middle class. This group tends not to forgive and forget as easy as women. In addition to this there’s thousands of options for beer.

If AB were still a smaller corporation, perhaps. But they have been owned by InBev since around 2009 and InBev is way too damn big to be playing a stock scam like this.
