it’s like a real life Disney World full of clean cut, happy, perfectly wholesome kids and large families. It’s otherworldly - these beautiful families with 4 or 5 kids going from dinner to Baskin Robins (you wouldn’t believe the lines at the BR closest to campus - it’s straight out of a 1980’s movie). Practically no crime, booming economy, most everybody is fit and successful.

This is the natural state of White communities when they're not being beaten down daily by relentless anti-White, Satanic propaganda, and immigration policies

Well..since you put it that way...
Provo doesn’t sound too bad!

Also it’s much cheaper and closer than moving to Ukraine or Kiev

Mormonism isn't that much crazier than any other fairy tale religion.

At least they try to explain that Jesus didn’t ignore the rest of the world. Regular Bible Jesus screwed over a lot of people by not telling them they had to believe in him to not burn in Hell

Tell me how they're different from a general public perspective? I'm not talking about doctrine. Your doorbell rings on a Saturday morning. Who are you gonna guess it is?

So you believe that life popped into existence from nothing...

I certainly don't believe that Jesus was born to a virgin and I certainly don't believe Jesus reincarnated. And I certainly don't believe in some fantasy afterlife.

If you want to call the force that started the universe, God, then I will give you that. Something had to put everything in motion.

But Christianity is a cult and was seen as such for some 500 years before it was accepted as a religion.

A cult is a group or movement held together by a shared commitment to a charismatic leader or ideology.

Sounds a lot like Jesus to me.

Dude, come on. I know the LDS church has deliberately put out marketing statements to hide the difference and try to appear like mainstream Christianity, but can we be honest about this?

I can't remember, have you admitted yet that you think Caucasians are a superior race?

It's all an act. Most Mormons believe they have to act happy in order to be a good Mormon.
Utah has one of the highest rates of anti-depressant use in the USA and the highest teenage suicide rate in the nation.

I'm an ex-Mormon who lived in Utah for a short time. I was very unhappy as a Mormon. When I left that church my life and well-being improved dramatically.

That building in that picture looks like the Mormon Temple in San Diego - which is in California - not Provo.

And they're definitely nice folks.

But I've had some super shady business dealings from some upper echelon types. Banner of Heaven shite.

In my home town the Southern Baptist preacher is basically the most powerful person in town. The head of that church was just an incredible piece of shite. Once a teen admitted to him that he was having homosexual feelings and was trying to fight it off and needed help. So what did the minister do? Outed him to the entire congregation the next sermon and said we no longer feel safe with you in our church.

Then my mother (we were Episcopalian) started a petition to make our county a wet county. My mom got the number of signatures she needed for it to go to vote. Somehow this preacher gets his hands on the petition and everyone who signed it. He then announces members of the congregation who signed it and similarly banned them from the church as well.

Then a few months later, he’s caught fricking his secretary (and yes he was married). Then for whatever reason he became all about forgiveness, when he gave that to no one else. That was a pretty eye opening event for people that went to my school that also went to that church.

That's a pretty sad story about a very lost man.

I asked you to show me a group of people who don't have a lot of hypocrites within, and you not only didn't do that, you based your entire thesis of why Christianity is somehow the worst, on a single person. I've heard of bad preachers, too. I've also been blessed to know many good one's. If you're looking for perfection, you're in the wrong dimension.

You can. I have no problem with Catholics or Mormons. Known some fine people of both persuasions.

A friend became a Mormon in his early 20's, shortly after he married (she wasn't a Mormon.)

He told me he had looked at his life and he disliked what he saw. He worried he'd become an alcoholic to cope and he wanted his family to be healthy and loving.
He didn't go into the religious side of it, but all of his children have large, healhty and happy families with no drugs, booze or crazy actions.

He is a kind gentle and trustworthy man; he probably always was.

Very true. I’m sure some Mormons are genuinely happy but there is significant pressure to appear blessed - financial success, good looking, happy family. It’s a high demand religion, lots of time commitments, you are assigned “a calling” to serve the church in some capacity (youth leader, Sunday school teacher, cleaning/maintenance for the church, etc) and are expected to serve it for as long as the bishop tells you to. 10% tithe, wear your garments, no alcohol, coffee or tea - break any of the rules and you lose your temple recommend. Young men are expected to serve a 2 year mission that they and their families fully fund. They’re ostracized if they don’t and definitely do not get the prime marriage prospects if not a returned missionary.

Most Mormons are very good people but the church leadership and theology is a different story.

The temple ceremonies are a blatant rip-off of freemasonry. YouTube link

Mormonism is a little far afield. But...

It irritates the hell out of me when American christians throw rocks at other denominations, like the Catholic bashers.

I saw a video of ISIS marching about 30 Coptic Christians out on a beach and beheading them all. And not one renounced their faith or begged for their lives.

What exactly do American Christians prove by spouting off about doctrinal differences?
Half of you live in your fake little world risking nothing while other people following doctrines you ridicule, give everything for Christ.

What do you risk? How do you even know a faith that risks nothing and costs nothing is real?

How do you think you will stack up on judgement day? Do you think Jesus will be impressed at your theological purity?

Altitude is correlated with depression and suicide. High altitude areas have higher rates. We don’t know why.
