I rode by a church that installed a pair of cameras that are looking into the property.

I'll LOL if they start tracking collection bucket donations then pull proxy income to shame people.

Would you live in a house that had security cameras? I’d feel safer in a church with cameras in their parking lot.

I doubt it was the church that installed them. They’re also installing them at dispensaries. I don’t smoke weed but idgaf who does and it’s pretty bad the govt is putting flock cams facing their entrance/exits.

Yes. Church is no different than any private business. They can protect their members and grounds any way they see fit.

Just because they have security surveillance does not mean they are flock cameras. I highly doubt the church is building a database of everyone's identity tied to their license plate number. They just want to catch thieves or vandals, and provide a deterrent to anyone tempted to do so.

Not to fight, but how do you know they are FLOCK cams, and how do you know the church had them installed?

All I'm saying, is let's take into account crime, and how the left has been attacking churches, before jumping to conclusions

Nope.

A realtor just posted a day or so ago that their house sale fell through when a buyer saw two Flock cameras in the area.

I’m not saying churches don’t have a right to do so. I am saying that I will vote with my feet and attend a different church if mine did. I stopped going to the church nearest me because of their insane covid policies after lockdowns.

I looked on a the Flock map, and I know what the cursed things look like.

The church would have some say in cameras pointed directly at its driveways, no?

Has it been proven that these things do anything to reduce crime? Considering all the crimes committed by law enforcement abusing them for personal reasons.

This makes no sense. The only reason you could possibly feel unsafe in a church is with the exceedingly rare situation where some crazy goes in there and shoots the place up. A flock camera isn't stopping that. How exactly does a flock camera make you feel safer in a church? Walk us through the logic here.
