From what I've read about LBJ, he seems to be the bottom of the barrel.

W got us stuck in wars we'd never win short of using total war. The ware in Afghanistan was warranted. The Iraq war was unconscionable. The rest of his presidency was okay, though.

I didn't have to read about it. I was an adult and paying attention. LBJ created the welfare state we currently live in. He was also responsible for the Vietnam fiasco.
When you are the incumbent for re-election and you opt out it's because you know the country hates you.
Factoid...LBJ followed JFK's tradition of hosting his concubines in the white house. Then we later had Clinton. Apparently it's just Dem presidents who bring their whores while their wives look the other way.

it is gonna take some time to determine what the verdict on biden is. HW bush was pretty weak considering he was the successor to Reagan and basically lost the cultural gains Reagan had made. Obama was probably the worst.

It's BHO easily. We wouldn't be where we are right now if not for his "moderate" campaign promises and alleged beliefs ("I believe marriage is between a man and a woman", or, "We need a strong, secure southern border", remember?) which he totally backtracked on in a full 180° once installed.
It's BHO and there's not even a close second. Full discourse though, had I been alive for LBJ he would be #1.
