Damn. That is horrible if true. It is doubtful they could have prevented deaths (I would anticipate the majority of the killing was already over) but you should assume there is still a chance.
Multiple articles stated he engaged with officers before entering the school. Then he entered and they did not pursue. And they let him sit in there for an hour at least before a BP officer went in and killed him.
They could have gone in immediately and engaged him and they didn't.

I'm getting my rifle and a couple magazines and going in there after him.

You guys, these things are false flag shootings. These shooters are groomed and handled by feds. The purpose of them is to shock the American people enough to be willing to give up their 2A rights. It's fricking obvious and the longer people keep their heads in the sand about it the longer we aren't addressing the real issues at play here.
And yes, cops can be in on it. Really it only takes one. The chief. Like Scott Israel in Florida. He ordered his men to stand down and they did, even though they didn't want to. If I remember correctly, eventually one of the good cops went in anyways. You don't need to have a bunch of corrupt cops. Just the ranking officer.
are you that fricking stupid that you think these school shootings are set up by the gov't, and the local police are in on it too, all so that they can ban guns eventually?
You think the FBI is going around asking young idiots "hey, you think we could get you to go shoot up this school, and then we'll come in after you kill a few kids and blow your brains out"?
Posted on 5/26/22 at 8:31 am to TeddyPadillac
All the FBI has to do is ignore these people/threats. Just like the BLM riots.

So you are blaming the Police?
Yes, but not for what you think.
Look, those mf'ers make money for years and years showing their "courage" by making traffic stops.
And the one time they had a chance to really save lives, they cop out.
How could they ever put on that uniform again knowing they sat outside while kids were being shot.

Civilians rushing into a live fire situation
Fine! But if you tell civilians NO, uou fricking well better be going in there yourself.
What a bunch of losers. Hiding behind some bs sgit on paper as "procedure"

Cops had that information as they arrived. If it turns out they did leave the POS unfettered to murder kids and teachers in the school for an hour, there is no excuse whatsoever for that. None!
And after the first altercation why wasn't the school immediately locked down? Another blunder by the police imo.

Having been in real situations I wouldn’t hesitate even though the shooter had a rifle. I know I am better pistol shot at close quarters than 95% of the country. Plus I have done CQB and trained CQB. The shooter likely had played CoD. I’d bet a paycheck that I come out on top.

Fox News putting Kamala on as a mouthpiece for the shooting; pathetic.

I've fired a gun one time in my life - an alcohol fueled night on a Mexican beach back in high school, so I'd probably get my arse shot off trying to intervene. But I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't try to stop what was happening in that school.

Martha MacCallum on Fox tweeted that the school WAS in lockdown at 11:43 due to the prior incident. So HOW did he get into the building? Did he shoot the lock ?

I agree the world is full of stupid people. I would prolly do the same in that instance. However it is a stupid thing to do. Are there multiple shooters? Are there explosives? etc.... Police patrolmen are not trained to rush into a live fire situation. They are trained to set up and contain the situation until a higher authority makes a decision. Cops are not superhuman crime fighters. Most of them have a C minus HS education level. I just think that the blame does not fall to them. They prolly have families. Scared of lawsuits and constantly worrying about defunding. Unless it was my kids school...I wouldnt run in blindly either.
how many other lives did he possibly save?

Another question. Did that classroom have windows in it or not? I haven't seen anything to whether it did or not.

the school didn't turn into Fort Knox all of a sudden.
or maybe someone was in on it at the school too huh, just like the shooter and the cops. they let him in, and then let him shoot all the kids b/c they feel that strongly about their hatred of the 2nd amendment.

yes there were windows from pics I've seen, if accurate.

A border patrol agent at that. City cops did nothing at whose direction is a big question that needs to be answered. Something tells me the bp agent went rogue against any "plans" when he decided he had had enough of doing nothing.

yes they do.
Proper school security keeps exterior doors locked at ALL times. Even if that wasn't the case with this school-- When a lockdown is announced, teachers IMMEDIATELY lock their classroom doors. In our school the tiny window in the door had a shade we would pull down when we pulled the door shut/locked so a shooter couldn't see inside the room. These things occur within 30-60 seconds after lockdown announced.

Then police didn't have to rush in. The killer could have easily been shot through a window I'd think. Man, just a lot of shite not adding up here.

In my agency during an active shooter situation, who ever is first on scene makes entry into the location and eliminates the threat. The other officers responding set up a perimeter and you have communication over the radio giving intel to the incident commander as you clear rooms. Your goal is to stop the killing as soon as possible. After seeing pictures of guys standing on the perimeter wearing plate carriers and carrying M4s it makes me wonder did that department even train for such a scenario? Did they even communicate with the school officer who first engaged him? Did the supervisors on scene make the call to isolate and contain, which goes against any active shooter/CQB training I’ve ever been to? All three? It’s an epic frick up from what I can see and a total failure by that Department and it cost innocent children their lives.

I thought the "new" training method after Sandy Hook was for the officers to immediately go to the sound of the gun shots and stop the threat with ZERO hesitation.

I just read an article on CNN, of all places, that said after Columbine it changed to rush the shooter.
