Wait so who actually killed the shooter? I thought officers were shot? Not seriously injured but still.

And after the first altercation why wasn't the school immediately locked down? Another blunder by the police imo.

Yeah. That’s SOP in the city.

Not “likely.” He was known for playing CoD. It was a personality trait for him.

You have to take into consideration that the police are so handcuffed now that they just couldn't go in guns blazing.

I'm actually surprised no one from the left has come to the defense of the shooter and claimed that the police shot him in cold blood.

Sure they could. That’s their training for active shooters. They just didn’t follow it.

yes they do.
Proper school security keeps exterior doors locked at ALL times. Even if that wasn't the case with this school-- When a lockdown is announced, teachers IMMEDIATELY lock their classroom doors. In our school the tiny window in the door had a shade we would pull down when we pulled the door shut/locked so a shooter couldn't see inside the room. These things occur within 30-60 seconds after lockdown announced.

A locked door?
You're right, it's impossible to get through a locked door.

Risk.
Everyone's life has some type of risk.
LEOs sign up knowing that they may be exposed to High Risk at some time.
Their business is High Risk.

This nutjob should have been taken down before he got to the school door.
Police should have not let him establish himself in a classroom. Throw to flashbangs at him and take him down with prejudice, less lives would had been lost.
ramos was a Coward, I mean who would shoot their Grandmaw? That's why he ran into the elementary school, a bldg. full of denfensless children , he was a coward and would have pissed his pants the moment a LEO put a weapon in his face.

are you that fricking stupid that you think these school shootings are set up by the gov't, and the local police are in on it too, all so that they can ban guns eventually?

That is exactly what's going on. But again, it's not all cops. You don't need many corrupted. Just the ranking officer in this case. The dumb shite who told his officers to stand down while a maniac was inside a building killing 18 children. If it had been the first time this has happened it might be a different story. But it isn't, so it isn't.

Nobody said a lock is impenetrable. It can be a deterrent. Seconds matter.

Do you just rush in without knowing what you're rushing into? It's easy to play the should of when you weren't even there.

Bunch of keyboard badasses in this thread. They're acting like all policemen are like Robocop. I'm pretty sure the scene was chaotic with screaming and gunfire. You don't just go rushing in like the calvary when you don't know exactly wtf is going on.

Here's another article I just found from The Sun:

quote:

As well as the dead at least a dozen others have been injured including a 66-year-old woman in critical condition, a 10-year-old girl in critical condition, a 10-year-old girl in good condition, and a 9-year-old girl in fair condition.

This is the first I've heard of this. So these people had to be shot or injured before he entered the classroom where he killed everyone. Were these people shot on his way to or from the classroom or both? Where exactly did the bp agent kill the kid? Schoolroom, hallway? Anyone know?

From what I read yesterday, a border patrol agent decided he was no longer waiting for backup and went in and killed the shooter. I assume they were told to wait for a SWAT team or something similar. The agent was shot in the leg.

Yes, you do, you stupid frick. And I guaran-goddamn-tee you I would have went in. And if my ranking officer told me not to I would tell him to kiss my arse and go in anyways.

And I would have killed the guy just like the one border patrol agent did. You guys make it sound like it's a death wish or something but it only took one officer to take him down.

Maybe the others were scared because of the supposed gun right they got into with him right before?

Nah, that story is bullshite. There was no gun fight where he crashed his truck. Because if there had been he would have been taken out. And people shouldn't be stupid enough to suggest frickin' Call of Duty amounts to actual training that would prepare this dumbass for a shootout with police. That's fricking stupid.

There was no gun fight before hand and these cowardly cops stood down while he slaughtered children. Just like in the Parkland Shooting.

WTF? these cops didn't know what was going on when they see a kid entering a school with a gun and seconds later a .223 is blazing away in a classroom. It would have taken the stupidest person in the entire world not to figure this one out.
