Gotcha.
Just didn't know if any of this had to actually been confirmed. I couldn't imagine being in that situation but I feel like every minute would feel like an hour. So that's why I was asking

So you are blaming the Police? Should be blaming the shooter's parents for their horrible parenting. Civilians rushing into a live fire situation would just lead to more casualties. Granted the Police should go in...but not until they have information on what they are going into. Running blindly into an active shooting usually does not end well.
Yes I am. My son and my brother in law are both officers. They both have told me they would have entered one on one. The fact that there were multiple officers on scene that engaged the suspect OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL BEFORE THE SHOOTING STARTED has me enraged. Every officer that was there and present before he entered the school should be immediately fired along with the chief. They had a chance to prevent this and they did nothing but wait outside while shots rang out.
I'm sorry sometimes you have to take chances in a live fire situation. They had him outnumbered and if it could have saved one life it was worth it. fricking cowards on that police force.

There were just under 30 people hiding in a small classroom and you want the police to shoot through a window. For God’s sake, wait a week to get a coherent timeline and then place blame.
Window……dude, STFU I am talking a very common breaching technique. If the door is locked the 1st man in the stack uses a shotgun to take the HINGES out. He steps across to pull the door out of the way and the stack behind comes in clears their respective sectors.

I've read (I think NPR was the source but I read on twitter) that they had to get a classroom KEY from another teacher before they could get into the classroom where the shooter was. Crazy.
Oh horse shite! Most LEOs have shotguns in their vehicles. A shotgun is an excellent breaching weapon. Two shots and the hinges come off. Used good old fashion trench guns for that.
maybe not with children and teachers on the other side? Could there be danger to them from shooting the door lock? I don't know...I'm asking. It does seem like BS to me too.

LEO on scene actually had tasers drawn to stop parents from storming building.
Same LEO in full battle rattle could have easily taken shooter out, why did they wait?
Told to do so = pussies
