How could you possible know at that age the she is a democrat?

There would be a hostage situation if that was my little girl
Yep, if that were the case, it would be a hostage situation for any of us.
The OP is moronic. The fact he is moronic about a horrible heartbreaking situation does not make him less moronic.

You have now seen how quickly the seals turn on you for going outside the lines of “their truth”.

I've seen it on every occasion where science, especially medical science, separates from the board's opinion. Bothers me not one bit.

I understand. Facts are optional for many here.

I know nothing about this scenario, barely skimmed the OP. Sounds unlikely the hospital would do something like that.
However, it is a fact numerous nut job medical professionals have lost their jobs, or absolutely should have lost their jobs, for proudly proclaiming they would harm patients they thought were maga.
So as outrageous as you think it is (and as I said, I probably agree), unfortunately they’ve proven it’s not….. outside the realm of possibilities

Is it a fact? I don’t know, how do you know?
Having worked ICU for 30 years I’ve seen a pretty fair amount of brain dead patients, and assisted in working up many for organ donation.
I’ve never personally seen a patient declared provably brain dead recover, but there are incidents of it happening.
I HAVE seen a lot of critical, intubated/trached patients otherwise not expected to have a meaningful survival
walk out of the hospital.
The child had the accident around Memorial Day. What’s the rush to declare brain death and pull support?

I was told the other day by a nurse that the United guy lost a child because the insurance company failed to cover procedures and it was procedures that should have been covered.
Is that true?
Not from what I know. I don't think he has children and he was never a United policyholder.
Whereas killing the hospital administrator would save the child's life.

But let's be crystal clear, Texas Children’s Hospital will NOT kill this child as retribution for Paxton blocking them.
Nor will they snatch this poor baby's organs without parental consent.

This whole situation is depressing as hell.

Pray that they will release her to one of the two hospitals waiting to take her in and that she recovers.

And how the frick do you know that for certain? What, are you a fricking psychic? Or do you just automatically jump to the "lets kill the child" position when you literally don't know what the frick you're talking about for the sheer fun of it?

The family is refusing confirmative tests.

As someone with your experience would know, the next step in the process involves brain function testing. The Family is refusing that testing.

It's the parents right to refuse that particular hospital to do the testing.
repeat:
quote:
This tiny little girl has shown some signs of recovery nearly drowning on Memorial Day and multiple doctors agree the hospital needs to give her time for the swelling on her brain stem to go down - but the Hospital is pushing to do a brain function test and wants the family to donate her organs.
Debra Sukin is the President & CEO. She will not let this child be transferred to another hospital - she is blocking the parents from fighting for the life of their little girl and violating their religious belief in the sanctity of life. The parents got a temporary restraint order against the hospital to give jen time & a radical Progressive judge blocked it & gave the hospital the right to do the brain function test now before she has had time to heal.
Posted on 6/5/26 at 6:46 pm to NC_Tigah
Not that I buy the OP at all, but, why not release the child to another hospital? I don’t get their justification for refusal.
