Really? He just doesn't want to be at war anymore, that's it? Nothing about the military or economic situation could have prompted this MoU? When will anyone admit that Iran was far more militarily capable than our government would admit and the economic situation was far closer to catastrophe than they were willing to admit?

I just heard a clip of him saying something about four weeks of energy or oil supply left. I think that was it.

Bro we’ve been in a constant war with Iran since 1947. Don’t you remember all the MAGA discussions here about it during the campaign?

The real question is, what would you have done differently?

really sorry you were brought to your knees by having to fill up your tank 16-20 times over 4 months for $20 more. that $400 or so can bring lots of folks to their knees not just you

Iran elevated their global status w/ this war. Now we have real data on how the strait affects the global economy. Huge win for them.

Now we have real data on how the strait affects the global economy

Only Iran is able to evaluate this "real data" and react to it for the future right?

By who's standards did he cave? Yours? Please don't say your standards!

And you believe them?

If you don't believe Iran honors their end of the deal (I don't) then why would you believe we honor any of our side, especially if it's already considered such a "huge loss" for the US??

I think it was the bond market, it started creeping up and that affects everything we do…face it, we are broke, and no one is buying debt, in fact, China and Japan have been dumping our debt. The 2 year is up to 4.16% , so it’s looking like the Fed is behind and need to raise rates. Oil shooting up, because of transportation issues, only hurts the problem. Trump wants rates to come down, and it’s not going to now, unless the Fed panicks because of unemployment….and boy would that be bad if we get stagflation, which is kind of trending that way. Iran knew our weakness…

The better than expected employment figures are one of the data points that economists are pointing to as a reason for a potential rate raise later this year.

Wars are not an Amazon order & tracked delivery! It’s been a resounding victory; immense show of US force/might (again) demolishing all military capabilities & leadership of a vast/powerful/batshit crazy country accomplished in mere days! (seen any Iranian sponsored terrorist attacks lately!?!)

And know this:

The Iranian Regime HAS Changed! Already, but the mood, tenor, impetus (psychologically & socially) has been set/done for the Total Change which WILL Occur soon & fast! For those who doubt - bookmark it & don’t fricking forget you were a woke liberal pussy when it happens!

I didn’t say “just doesn’t want to be at war anymore”
He wants out for numerous reasons, many of which you mentioned. It’s also unpopular politically.

I'm just infinitely shocked we could do something as simple as stopping drone attacks in the strait...or whatever was causing them to have the power to "close" it
