Why did 47 cave on this war with Iran?

What was he so afraid of? The midterms???? This is quite an embarrassment.

The only thing that caved was the building the Iranian regime was in on the first day of the operation. President Trump got Iran to cave to his terms.

Because it would have been infinitely more stupid to put boots on the ground. Which was the only logical next step.
I don’t like how this has ended but it’s a hell of a lot better than getting involved in another Iraq situation

The objective was to keep Iran from obtaining a nuke. Iran has agreed to this. What more do you want?

The deal allows us to inspect whenever and wherever we want.

Because he loves Iran, stupid troll question. Good grief you people are so over educated.

Where is that in the MOU?
This is what the MOU says
quote:
8 — The Islamic Republic of Iran reaffirms that it shall not procure or develop nuclear weapons. The United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran have agreed to resolve the disposition of stockpiled enriched material pursuant to a mechanism that will be mutually agreed upon in accordance with the schedule mentioned in paragraph seven, with the minimum methodology to be down blended on site under the supervision of the IAEA. The two parties also agreed to discuss the issue of enrichment and other mutually agreed matters related to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear needs, based on a satisfactory framework being agreed upon in the final deal. The final deal will confirm the provisions of this paragraph. The United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran acknowledge the critical importance of the nuclear issues above mentioned. They express their intention to immediately address these issues in the negotiations in order to achieve mutual agreement on them.

Well first off Mr. Scott Pelley, PDJT did not cave and this was not a war with boots on the ground.
Bookmark. He knows what he is doing. And if they don't play nice, they will be annihilated. Pretty simple for those that see through the BS.

It’s a preliminary memorandum not the full agreement. I would assume a competent attorney would understand contract law but perhaps they don’t teach that at Southern. The administration has publicly said unfettered inspections will occur.

Other than WW2, all the other wars have basically been failures. Why not focus on fixing Social Security and Medicare or the 100’s of other domestic issues. If it is war, then go to war with ground troops. We have a huge military just to sit home? The object of
War is to win and defeat the enemy and subject them to your objectives.

Because he realized that BiBi and the neocons f'ed him. He realized it and now he just wants out.
And he is never going back in. Ever.
And that is the smartest thing to do.
Time heals all wounds. Focus on the economy and tell BIBI and his warhawks to pound sand.

I slummed it at LSU on scholarship.
Where is the agreement where Iran agreed to this (in writing, preferably)
