I didn’t realize we had so many crooks on TD. What’s your problem with Flock cameras if they make us all safer? What are you trying to hide?

There’s no point in putting flock cameras in crime neighborhoods because face identification technology only works on white people

Imagine the police come grab you and take you to the police station and show you a video recorded from a flock camera of a crime being committed and say you're the guy in the video. Even if you didnt do it and it was a mistake with the facial recognition technology or AI, you're about to be spending thousands of dollars defending yourself and wasting months of time. Better hope they give you bail or else you're losing your job too.

Course a couple of bad cops were tracking their X so its a bad thing.
You guys ever ask yourself, where did this sudden "grass roots" uprising come from? The cameras have been around for decades.
Ever occur to you, without them the crime rate would be far worse and who would that benefit? Chinese would love the lawlessness. Hmmm maybe just like the uproar over AI, or fentynal its another tool in their toolbox to foster discord.

Ring cameras are privately owned and operated by homeowners/citizens.
The issue is with a network of cameras used by the government/law enforcement.
