So if a country wanted one with the sole purpose of destroying another, Should the other country sit back and let them if they have the capacity to stop it?
The current list of nations that have them have all shown they are for deterrence only. Iran has consistently said they want to wipe Israel and the USA off the face of the earth. It would be dumb to let them. If Israel wants to mop the floor with their nuclear weapon development facilities they should have at it.

I don't trust Iran one bit, but Israel stole our nuclear technology and have proven time and time again that they love to instigate wars. They attacked Iran unprovoked, gave us fake Intel to drag us into Iraq, and have even conducted false flag operations against us (Lavon Affairs and USS Liberty).
Say what you want about Iran, but they seem peaceful compared to Israel. The only difference is that Iran tells us they hate us while Israel deceives us as they drain our country and flood us with Muslim refugees.

Good find. And how about that same sentiment prior to this Ayatollah and prior to the freshly recent American leaders/officials he named? Any chance he might not be speaking for all time prior? Also, is there any chance his sentiments there don’t exactly reflect the reality of every American hating civilian and government/military official in the country?

These people have a 7th century mindset and want 20th/21st century weaponry. This is not a good combination. Modern Americans have a hard time understanding this since we generally value life and freedom. If Iran had the capability, they would carpet bomb America from Maine to San Diego and not think twice about it. If they kill Americans or Israelis but die in the process, it is a win for them.

I can't read their minds but they have legitimate reasons to hate us. We should always act in our own interests but we can't pretend we didn't help create these conditions where they hate us.

Obama and Biden even tried to bribe them with billions of dollars in cash on pallets flown to Iran but they learned Iranians can't even be rented much less bought.

That’s cool you posted this I thought the same but then thought it threw and decided against.
My first thought was well we did it first and we’re the only ones to since, and sure the Cold War and weapons of mass destruction and all, but when someone tells you the want to kill you im on the side of they are telling the truth so let’s prohibit that.
