re: How do Aggies make the claim that they are big brother to Texas?

No red blooded Texan would claim a university that has all male cheerleaders as the flagship for the State of Texas.
True ! and no red blooded Texan would claim a university that celebrates licking dildos in mass. And celebrates communist rolling their drivel at West Campus.
So glad I went to the "Red blooded Texan" school. Where the women are hot and penicillin is cheap. :dude:

Beating Navy and USC isnt the same as beating OU, ATM, and Vandy, can we agree?
UT's problem is a lack of consistency and allowing 30 points per game over the last 5. Yes you have strong wins but you also have bad wins. Barely beating Miss State and UK in low scoring affairs is not a good look. Then UT let Vandy score 21 in the 4th. If that game lasted another 3 minutes its horns down.
UT 2025 is a psycho up, down, and all around team. Should inconsistency on this scale be rewarded ? Hell no. Wouldn't be to BYU, Ole Miss, TAMU, Tech, UI, etc. But yeah, maybe to Ohio State, ND, and 4 or 5 other media darlings.

According to ESPN there is a 67% chance BYU loses and a 49% chance Bama does. Gut feels says this is a 35/65 event.

Bizarre. Has Kiffin won a single game as HC of LSU? I would think talking trash AFTER you get real results would be much more fun. And are you sure what you are feeding into your veins is not toxic? Sure was toxic to Ole Miss right on the eve of their going to the CP
And LSU may have serious legal and monetary issues still on the board with the previous coach. What could go wrong ?
LSU must have their own Federal mint/printing press. Or really bad and knee jerk administration. After all La is the best financially managed state in the Union-- Right ?

Rank the melts
1. OM but justified but to be fair, they shouldn't have never hired that crook from the get-go. The warning signs were every where.
2. Aggy. No shock no surprise. Aggy is that loser from a blessed and gifted family that mysteriously pulls out a 9MM and pops himself in the face while aiming at something else. Friday night was a classic example.

Thinks it's laughable that ND in for losing to Miami and A&M, while their best win is Pittsburg, ranks Tech at #5 (despite a loss to an Arizona State team that lost to Mississippi State), whose best win is...Utah.
Tech at 5 will probably happen, but it's just irrational and stupid.
Ah just like the ole B-12 days, 1996-2011 Aggy bitching, whining, and crying. All you had to do was win against a 3 loss team, that barely beat Miss State, Kentucky, and almost let Vandy come back after being down by 24 at the end of the 3rd. Just win, but instead, in true Aggy form, y'all blew it when it mattered most.
Its what you do. Dont get mad at Tech. Win your f'n games. Its all we can do too. Boo F-n who who.

Tech would get wrecked playing an SEC gauntlet.
Maybe but I dont think we'd lose to OM. Especially if our QB is healthy which he wasn't against ASU. To bad we wont find out. And even if we did yall would just say "it was because Kiffin F'ed us over." Which he did.
Thanks to Kiffin's greed OM is damaged goods which is sad. There is no glory in playing a team compromised by outside factors.

Have you seen BYU play? Not a very good team really. They’d have at least 4 losses if they played in the SEC.
What BYU game did you watch? Im betting, given your posting history, none, with you going with FEELS.

According to ChatGPT: If Texas Tech had OU’s 2025 schedule, I think they’d still be good, but they’d likely slip a bit from 10–1 — maybe landing around 8–3 or 7–4.
MAybe who knows. But did the AI know if the QB broke up with is girl, did his momma, get sick ? Did the coach scheme the opposition ? Questions, lots of human questions an AI couldn't begin to answer. Means its output is speculation and estimation.
Here are the basics.
Does a team tackle well? do they block effectively, are they fast ?, are they smart ?, can the coaching staff make effective and rapid adjustments? Can they execute play after play ? Whats the locker room dynamic like - a bunch of arguing leaders' ?
Can an LLM AI gauge all these variables ? If so how effectively?
Tech used to be the WORST tackling team in America for decades. But lo and behold we have a D-line that usually drops people on first contact- hard. An oline that blocks, backs that can run, receivers that can catch. Do those things you can be competetive. right ? I guess a first gen AI can calculate some of that.

But we can do a direct comparison between the median income of Oxford and Starkville.
This has nothing to do with the wealth of either schools alumni
State grads on average earn more than OM grads

The median salary for University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) graduates is $45,336 six years after graduation

As a Texan now living east of the Miss river I find this fascinating. The urban contempt for the rural within the bounds of Mississippi. Texans do the same but almost all urban, often forgetting who feeds them. Imagine urban professionals trying to feed anyone much less 4 billion people or half the worlds pop.
In these Texas arguments, they love to hash libtard USNEWS rankings but ignore payscale data. Almost as if what school you graduated from determines your fate as a human being.
Hard work, personality, drive, ambition, ethics, etc don't matter. Just what that diploma says. These types of arguments are beyond retarded. I'm sure there are great people at both OM and MSU and some turds at both too, just like at any school.

Why should it being a "business decision" trump ethics. As a rule unethical business do not endure unless they are in a low competition environment such as a monopoly or an oligopoly. College football teams usually do not fit that profile, usually.

The same could be said for other ranked non-SEC teams. We all know ND would have more Losses if they had SEC schedule. Same goes for Indiana and Ohio State.
Hey just kick ND, OSU, TTU, IU, etc. out and replace them with FLA, MSU, LSU, UK, etc, 'cause, you know, they'zz SEC ! SEC ! SEC.
No thinking or analysis required, just the way you'd like it and can feel safe.

I know, Aint being # 5 perfect? I want nothing to do with top 4 for this very reason. Keep our banged up QB healthy yet keeping the rest of the team hot. Couldn't ask for a better slot. Hope it holds.
I just wish we were playing you (OU) instead of GA for the next round. OU forgot how to play Offense and our D is pretty good too. That would be a great match up for us. You may resume your crying and complaining now.

Right. Didn't OM barely beat a Washington State team that had only a few wins. Hey, OM should have showed up for that game. This shits on Ole Miss. If y'all played us that way we would have beat you by 40.
