You go fight China all on your own.

I mean, if you are dumb enough to have faith in the current “administration” and the “woke forces” that are more interested in trannies than training, then I’m sure that you are willing to move to Taiwan and get you some of the CCP.

Good luck!

One thing that is clear to anyone observing Russia shitting the bed in Ukraine

Don’t they control 3/4 of Ukraine? This despite them being armed to the teeth with US weaponry and stacks of taxpayer dollars.

I’m not sure if that qualifies as “shitting the bed.”

Besides, Russian (Soviet) military attacks have pretty much always been haphazard affairs.

Because Obama and Biden intentionally weakened our military as much as possible. Our military spends 4 hours a day doing real training and 4 hours a day telling our troops how evil white people are. Our military has become woke.

As Jesse Kelly says, we need a military full of grade A hardasses who want to sit on a throne of Chinese skulls. What we have now is not that.

With almost 3,000,000,000 options currently in uniform I bet they can find a couple competent guys. Took the Union a couple of years but even Lincoln found a few decent generals.

And the Chinese run small scale stuff regularly in the ME and Africa with advisors.

It's always funny to me that people think Russia and China are working hand in hand, planning a German-Japanese type of attack starting WW3. It's all Cold War nonsense. China wants none of that: China wants the US and Russia to go to war because they would profit immensely by producing for both sides.

I agree with this^^^^. It wouldn’t surprise me if Xi assured Putin prior to the Ukraine/Russia shite show kicking off that China would be neutral to slightly supportive in Russia’s quest to challenge the West in Ukraine. China is using Russia as a means to gauge the West’s response and reaction to a military incursion, they need to get a feel for what the US/West will do if they move on Taiwan. China is definitely playing a very solid game of geopolitical chess….the US and the West are looking pretty putrid right now.

the reason they aren't scared of war is because all the good patriotic Americans who the commanders and politicians currently despise will sign up in droves.

all these pussies beating the war drums will be the ones staying behind per usual. stick that I support the troops decal on the bumper and call it a day. meanwhile all the 17-22 year old children of patriots get slaughtered in the frontlines to beat back another new axis of evil.

The Russians are clearly underperforming expectations on every aspect of this conflict. I don’t think anyone thought this would take more than a couple of weeks. At this point we have people actually talking about Ukraine “winning” the conflict. I think Russia ultimately prevails but this hasn’t gone the way anyone thought it would. Contrast that to Desert Storm in 91 when the US invaded Iraq and their million man army and was in Baghdad a few days later.

You’re joking - right?

January 17th to February 28th.

I was placed on 24hr standby at the beginning of January.

Iraq was not as advanced militarily as Ukraine.
Additionally, the terrain is not the same. Plus, Iraq had no support. You are comparing apples and oranges.

I’m not sure why you think Ukraine would have capitulated in days. They were aware of the build up, they were armed with modern equipment, they are defending their own sovereignty, and they have been in conflict in the East for the better part of a decade. In short, Ukraine was always going to be a tough but to crack, especially with the haphazard way in which Russia has typically done things.

I just don’t get your take.

This doesn't matter if you are not willing to do what it takes to win and not stick around to rebuild everything... Raze it to the ground and leave does not worry me in the least...

The two biggest "Boogeymen" in the world - Russia and China _ do not have that at all. Hell, China has less military experience than Russia has.

We are seeing how ineffective Russia's Command is, so why is the Poli Board so scared of a conflict with China? We would absolutely crush them if we fought them head to head.

Such a stupid post. No one is "scared of China or Russia" in a war. We're scared of all of our jobs, manufacturing, materials, and goods being relocated to a hostile nation.

Your line of thinking, is why YOU need to get out of your left wing bubble. You have no idea how the other side works. We don't give a shite about Russia or China. We just want America to take care of itself. We want corporations setting up shop in America. We want manufacturing back in America. We don't want microchips, medicine, basic goods 100% coming from 1 or 2 foreign countries. Remember covid? Kinda shitty when you find out 85% of our basic drugs and materials to make small things comes from China, right?

China has five times the U.S. population and half the world bought and paid for. They could walk into the U.S. at a stroll and our entire Senate would get on their knees and beg to suck their soldiers off one by one.

I was talking primarily about the ground offensive. The longer DS conflict sort of supports my assertion in that the coalition forces actually had coordinated air and naval operations prior to the ground assault.

I’m just saying that there was a lot of bed wetting prior to the Russian invasion that they were doing to roll right through Ukraine and have their way with them. That clearly didn’t happen and it seems like a lot of “experts” were surprised by that. I think Russia’s military capabilities have been overrated by the west for decades. They have been seen as a “superpower” since the end of WWII and while they still have a formidable nuclear arsenal, they cannot project power across the globe, or even run coordinated military operations in their own back yard. I think the US has shown it can project power across the globe, and run effective, sustained military operations, though that effectiveness is blunted by inept political leadership. That was the point I was trying to make.

Would be tough to beat China for the same reason it was always tough to beat Russia in a ground war. We may kill 10 of them per 1 of our soldiers, but they have 10 more behind him that they can spare, while we don't.
