Paxton is a trash candidate. If he loses how will it be spun?

If Paxton is "trash" and he beat Cornyn by 28 in the primary, what does that make John?

Trump for destroying a once-in-a-lifetime coalition.

This will be on the conservatives and Republicans who didn't bother to vote. That's how we got Spanberger, Jones, Warner, and Kaine here in Virginia.

republicans are to blame. dems were willing to elect a fricking nazi sex criminal in Maine to protect us from.. GASP!!!.. Susan Collins.

The purist masshole regime will frick around and help get a guy elected that makes Beto ORourke look like Barry Goldwater. Its so stupid.

Well i certainly rate Paxton above everyone calling him trash so there's that hurdle you have when considering your posts.

Nobody else to blame but republicans for backing a candidate that had this much baggage. Texas is in trouble. Cruz isn't even super popular and he could be the next to fall if Democrats pick a moderate Dem to run against him.

All the dumbasses like you who voted for him, there is the option of not voting if you find Paxton so objectionable. I love the logic of “well Paxton is so unlikable I am going to vote for the closeted fake preacher with a liberal voting record” lol utterly pathetic

Cornyn would have had better odds because more independents would go that way and maga would fall in line

That said, he’d be in a dog fight because the election is about Trump and no amount of Trump gushing over dude’s asses is going to sway the gay vote

Paxton offered to drop out if Cornyn would put his full weight behind the save act.

The door was open and Cornyn didn’t walk through it. This is on him.

Not gonna happen.

Let’s, ask The more likely hypothetical Question, Who’s to take Blame when Talarico Loses? Do Democrats in the state of Texas finally put up a more moderate candidate , or is there base moved so socialist that they’ll never move back towards a more central candidate?
