What Pence did and did not do. 117 state Legislators BEGGED him... and he refused

You think this is about Trump? You are shallow. You think it's Trump upset with Pence... You are ignorant.
Mike Pence was asked by 117 state Legislators to send it back to them because something was wrong and they needed the time to get to the bottom of it.
Pence had that power. Why? because the states requested it and it put the EC in doubt!
They simply asked for 10 days! And Pence refused.
The US Constitution states that it is the state legislatures that are charged with the election laws. When those are broken, it is the their to fix!
WI Supreme court ruled that the WEC broke election laws. PA broke them. AZ, ga, NV...etc... ALL broke them. It was not the state legislatures that did it, but the executives of those states.
The states were trying to exercise their Plenary power afforded to them by the US Constitution and Pence denied that.
In fact, they stated that to him.
Article II Clause 1 Section 2 of the Constitution gives state legislatures plenary power to choose which electors are sent to Congress.
The appendix, the lawmakers wrote, “provides evidence of a coordinated and structured multi-state effort to undermine state law protecting election integrity.”

“We intend on fulfilling our oaths of office by properly investigating and determining whether the election should be certified, or decertified, by our respective state legislatures,” the lawmakers wrote in a letter to Pence. “Additional time must be afforded for the legislatures to meet and for state legislators to fulfill their constitutional duties.”

“We write to ask you to comply with our reasonable request to afford our nation more time to properly review the 2020 election by postponing the January 6th opening and counting of the electoral votes for at least 10 days, affording our respective bodies to meet, investigate, and as a body vote on certification or decertification of the election,”

Then why did states certify in first place? I don’t understand this shite.

States needed to get control of their shite, they rolled over for some reason

The SOS and the Gov are of the executive branch. They certified it. Congress had plenary power.
Every state legislature that signed on to that told Pence there was a massive dispute. They were exercising their Plenary Power afforded to them by the US Constitution and PENCE ALONE had the power to HONOR that ...
He refused the those states of their rights

Yep. It never should have made it to DC. If the states certify, the congress has to respect it.
Makes no sense why states certified with so much evidence of fraud

States certified with 2 sets of elector slates sent. One for Biden winning, one for Trump winning. Pence could have asked the States their intention or remedy.
The sad thing is as we saw in impeachment videos. The dems objected big time with Trump---- and Biden shut them down...
But two sets of electors weren't sent for Trump & Clinton.
To this day I want to know if the media reports that Pence had a meeting and all were on the same page, As he was going to ask for resolve for the two set of electors sent. were true or was Pence pressured?
I think he got presser and it was easy because he is a never Trumper. He would repeat Trump policies to run in 2024.

The states should have been all over this before Dec 08. All that had to happen was to call in an investigation.

Again, not true at all. You are ignoring US Constitution.
1- The State Legislature has plenary power. They, in writing, disputed the results.
2- State Legislatures do not certify anything. The Executive branch does.
This is a check and balance and Pence pissed on it because he had, in his hand, those state bodies saying we are exercising our PLENARY RIGHTS!

It wouldn't even matter. States told Pence there was a multi state effort to undermine election integrity and they were exercising their Plenary rights to get to the bottom of it.
He ignored it.

They used the Capitol "insurrection" as their excuse to reconvene and ram through the certifications.
It was the plan to ram it through all along, but the Capitol Building unrest pissed them off and they used that emotion to fuel a hasty decision.
In other words, the entirety of Congress all acted like liberals and made a huge decision based on strong emotion... you know, instead of level headed rational thought, evidence, etc.

Pence let America down. Ultimately, he didn’t have the backbone, but he still seems to be a good man.

I thought Trump had all the evidence already?
And: How much time does he need to lay it out? It's been nearly 4 months.

Agree, despite screwing over the country, and molesting kids, he is a great American!

Based on my experiences trying to reach out, I received no responses and it came across as my state legislators were overwhelmed, never thinking they'd have to deal with a scandal this big.
The other elected officials appeared to be either intimidated to not do anything or were in on it.

Yep.
Every state which changed how the election was run w/ out getting approval from their legislature verified an illegal election.
Every single one.

A lot of states don't have the certification vote passing through their halls...Those state legislatures merely needed to send a vote of no confidence in their election results saying a true and not fully determined vote has occurred causing "election failure". Specifically in those words on or before safe harbor.
They did not do that, therefore they made it easy on Pence. Not that I don't think Pence wasn't slimy...if you're gonna rob a bank, it's alot easier if the bank manager is in on the robbery.
If the state legislature sends election failure documents then their state's electors shouldn't be counted. At that point Trump's lawyers win if they do count it in the EC forum on Jan 6..it's verbatim in the election law wording.
None of the correctly written out safeguards were formally activated. Like I said it's even easier to rob a bank with alarms that ring nowhere, the guards filling the money bags and the media reporting how mean people outside are causing mass hysteria by pointing at a bank robbery that doesn't exist.
It's fricked up top to bottom...even lefties know that.

I'm confused by this opening line. I'm pretty sure Trump IS upset with Pence, but no one is saying it's "about" that. I'm not sure who you're talking to there.
Pence wormed out. Plain and simple. Lin Wood called Pence a traitor before he did this, and we all wondered what, specifically, he was talking about. I guess some people must have already been aware that Pence had no intention of doing what was right, and Lin got word of it, because he sure does appear to be a traitor now.

The Secretary of State certified the election without doing a due diligence when witnesses signed affidavits claiming election crimes were committed. It should be mandatory to investigate these claims. Not one SOS performed a valid forensic analysis of the ballots and machines.
Pence betrayed our country. He followed terrible advice. I bet the GOPe promised Pence that he would be a hero. Instead Pence ended up being a coward.
Nikki Haley must have gotten some advice worse than Pence. Saying the GOP is done with Trump guaranteed she will have no chance at being elected for anything. People will tune her out if she tries to speak. The only people who will listen to her are the establishment GOPers. The GOP voters are done with the GOPe idiots. They have no idea who their base is and how done the base is with them.
Mitch proved he is worthless and did more damage to policies the people wanted than he did good for the people. Ryan helped avoid passing good policies Trump and his voters wanted. We will not forget.
Cassidy and Lindsay get 6 more years. We will remember how they acted when it is time for them to get re-elected. Primary all of these traitors.
