Well, for one I was a little more snarky in that post than I really care for. Anyhow, I found the statement that the U.S. Constitution gives the state legislatures the sole authority to dictate election laws to be completely accurate.
Art. II
Clause 2. Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress
It's actually rather vague, but my point was that the things listed by poster that are done by this and that state agency, yes, that's correct BUT those state agencies and election boards derive the authority and ability to do what they have to do to conduct an election from laws passed by the state legislature. But no, not from the state constitution. Referring to national elections here of course.
Am I wrong?
**Silly arse long post, I agree.

Again, not true at all. You are ignoring US Constitution.
1- The State Legislature has plenary power. They, in writing, disputed the results.
2- State Legislatures do not certify anything. The Executive branch does.
As usual you are FOS. If the legislature designates the SOS or governor to certify the election results, then the SOS or governor are empowered to certify the results.

Makes no sense why states certified with so much evidence of fraud.
If you read the states' oppositions to the state court challenges and/or the states' oppositions to the Texas complaint, together with the state Supreme Court opinions on the state court cases, you would understand why the states certified the results.
There was not "so much" evidence of fraud as was being proclaimed by Trump in his emails and his sycophants in the conservative media..

There was ample evidence.
