And therein lies the problem..... The next move is not Trump's to make, it's the Iranians' choice.

If Iran attacks U.S. military bases, Trump is pulled into a regional conflict beyond what most have contemplated, and that would be a fundamental break in his prior promises.

Every global entity who opposes President Trump, including many republicans in the Senate, now want Iran to attack U.S. interests; not because they want to see U.S. interests attacked, but rather because they know the results means the end of the Trump presidency.

As long as we don't leave the region around our installations and just defend ourselves (or continue to degrade their and their proxies capabilities via air), what's the problem?

As I told stout earlier, the people spiking the football see Saturday's bombing as the end of a conflict, when others see it as the beginning of a new conflict.

i don't see how it is an end to any conflict unless trump and others are expecting Iran to just lie down and capitulate for some reason that nobody knows about.

if we're being honest, they have no reason to. American public has let it be known that it will not stomach another middle east conflict where we're sending troops into a meat grinder with no discernible objective in the end.

Irans attempt will be purposefully weak so as not to provoke the US.

Iran cannot take on both Israel and the US.

Trump knows this. Apparently the media does not.

Goddamn conservatives are weak, makes sense now why the left was able to so easily do whatever they wanted.

They’d like that to be the case because they’re all treasonous scum who want a golden parachute paid for by the American taxpayer rather than their just reward.

Maybe this time they’ll “got him now!”

So you're saying retaliate on the down low? I can see that working, maybe.

The last paragraph is 100% true, but left out that Israel will false flag one of are bases before they let the US stop it's war on Iran.

Nah. You should have watched Warroom this morning.

MAGA is fine.

Sam and Bannon are worried about our intelligence gathering.

Are we pretending the Iranians weren’t killing Americans and interested in doing so before Saturday?

Come on folks. Iran doesn’t even have control of their own skies. They are completely vulnerable in every way imaginable. Any attack by Iran or their proxies will result in the destruction of their oil refineries and/or natural gas electric grid. Whatever Iran can do in comparison is peanuts. This conflict will be very short lived if at all.

I agree with you. However, crying about shite that hasn't happened is a characteristic of the left and is never a good look.

There is no chance that we are putting boots on the ground. If they retaliate they will be bombed non stop.

I agree...except that this isn't new. This was always going to happen at some point.

The only people who think this is new are people like yourself who pretend that this started recently.
