The Southern Poverty Law Center seems to imply Trump may be partly responsible for Dylan Roof.

quote:

President Donald Trump announced he was running for office on June 16, 2015. The following day, white supremacist Dylann Roof opened fire in a historically black church located in Charleston, South Carolina, killing nine people in the hopes of launching an all-out race war.

quote:

those two events aren't directly linked. "But it’s certainly symbolic," Heidi Beirich, director of Southern Poverty Law Center’s Intelligence Project, tells Newsweek.

You can not argue with Progressive Science. So just nod blankly and proceed.

I certainly hope Ms. Beirich didn't pull any muscles with that reach.

She's just pushing her own bias into the tragedy.

A great man by the name of Maajid Nawaz is currently suing them for defamation, and I think Trump should join in as well. That place is a cesspool that even liberals think need to be brought down.

SPLC should list themselves as a hate group.

I took a gigantic crap the day Hillary officially announced her candidacy, so I guess that makes that shite symbolic, too.

He's TOTALLY responsible for it and I'm sure that Mueller will hire a team of investigators to investigate this.

I can't believe the SPLC is even recognized as a legit organization.

Now I was arguing that posting two facts is not an allegation of something nefarious regarding the AP story.

Now you have to go a post an example where posting two facts is a ridiculous allegation of something nefarious. Of course they decided to link to unrelated events.

The Southern Poverty Law Center may have had an admirable and justified purpose when it was founded. But with an executive (not just some random worker) making such ridiculous statements, it has swayed far from its original purpose.

I obviously dislike Trump, but this unreasonable attempt to connects Trump to Roof legitimately angers me.

Yeah, this is worse than insinuating that Ted Cruz's dad helped kill JFK.

Trump should have them designated as a hate group.

Well both are pretty bad insinuations, but somehow Trump's was more logical. More importantly, the source of the allegation makes it much worse. They are supposed to be "experts" on the topic so extremely inappropriate, unsupported, and illogical insinuations makes this one of the most inexcusable comments I've seen.

I agree with you that they started as a legit organization. They are sham today and prove it with this kind of BS
