I'm surprised that the walmart in West Helena, Arkansas is still in business.

They are being hit hard with theft from both customers and employees. It is so bad that all electronics are locked up.

Worst walmart that I have visited. The only reason that place isn't out of business is that walmart doesn't like shutting them down as they believe would make them look like a failure.

However they aren't obligated to no one and will eventually grow impatient with a building that just continues to lose money.

They do have business models that work. Not offering locations where customers and employees are not safe is pretty common sense.

It is neither Walmart’s nor Whole Foods’ responsibility to clean up neighborhoods Democrats have destroyed.

Maybe the discussion this country needs to have should include common sense Democrat control.

I agree with this. They absolutely should.

Walmart doesn't owe them anything though. Someone from that community needs to figure it out if they want it. Walmart is responsible to their shareholders and not your community

The fricking nerve of these people. Walmart is a business and their job is to make money. Bad policy and culcha drove them out and it is not their job to repurpose anything.

Again how fricking stupid. Walmart and some of these other Corporations that are leaving have a business model that works obviously ,but when theft likely from inside as well becomes too much and there is virtually nothing you can do about it than the business is not profitable and would be better off closed in that location.

These are the same people who complained about items being behind bullet proof glass at gas stations. Even when you create a business model that works well enough to prevent thefts in these areas, these liberals will shite on you and hate you for it.

And the thieves just go loot cargo from trains that slow down long enough, because they know there are zero consequences.

If those communities were paying for their goods and not stealing them then the stores would be there. Instead of putting the blame where it belongs they want to continue playing the victim. Good go without.

What’s the last WalMart you went to that wasn’t an anchor for a strip mall or multi-tenant housing development, or both?

The big box stores were brought into these areas with development $$$$ , security (aka police), and tax breaks that were promised by the city. You know some small businesses took a chance and followed the anchor tenants. Those are the real losers here. Walmart, Amazon (Whole Foods), Aldi will survive.

All part of the plan comrade.

Once a "food desert" has been created, they will push for state owned grocery stores. Citizens will be issued their food rations vs buy what they want.

Finally someone will try socialism the "right way".

Excellent. Government grocery stores. Wonder what those would look like?

Ah yes. The retarded worldview that businesses will sabotage their own profits in favor of demonstrating “discrimination” (i.e. “rACiSm”) against black people.

It would be great if they had a community meeting and show a video entitled "how our store can stay open for years to come".

In the video they could simply show people putting food in thier cart and paying at the registers vs stuffing product under their shirts and walking out the door.

Wouldn't law and order be a basic need? Maybe provide that service for it's people and the businesses will return. Not a hard concept to imagine.
