So how many people are going to die because they will put off preventative procedures "just in case"?
and if they can be put off why have them?

Impossibru!
ETA: yesterday I drove by and decided to pull into one of our main hospitals which is centrally locates and the ER parking which you can never find a spot, had 5-10 cars in it only with about 40 open spots.
Hmmmm

Those will all be counted as wuhan flu deaths.

I'm still waiting for video showing that NO hospitals are overwhelmed. All I have so far is just a bunch of lip service.

NYC is NOT overwhelmed enough to transfer non-COVID patients to the Navy hospital ship... or to the Javitts Center. Fewer than 50 patients at those 2 huge facilities.
BTW, great move by Gen Milley to now accept COVID patients at the ship and Javitts - let's see what happens next.

I had to go in to the medical center for something totally unrelated to the virus yesterday. The waiting room had 2 people in there ( they were having respiratory cases go to a tent set up outside of the E room) and there didn't appear to be any vehicles around there.
We have had one case here in this county and that person recovered.

If the government is going to alter out lives in this way, they absolutely owe us evidence that justifies what they are doing.
We should not have to ask for the evidence. The onus should be on them to prove the need. And not just with models.

Thanks for that video link.
That was very eerie to say the least. Seeing it at my hospital network also.
I have been put on mandatory PTO because our surgery center shut its doors and the employees there needed some hours.
For us that were maxed out on PTO we were put on a surprise vacation.

There is a ton of justified "ramping up" going on in the healthcare community in preparation for the worst. Thats a good thing.
The tragedy here is the media lying in order to paint this as a systemic failure of leadership.
They'll say anything to maintain control.

Hospitals are only letting patients in. They aren’t allowing family, friends, etc to be near the patients. That’s one reason for the emptiness. Most hospitals, if not all, have cancelled elective surgeries as well. That further adds to the emptiness.
I’m not saying that the chopsick isn’t what people have hyped it up to be, because I don’t think it is, but just giving reasons why your seeing empty hospitals.

Yea anyone with common sense can figure this out. It's not a hoax and it's stilly to use empty hospitals as your "gotcha" in your conspiracy.

At least in NOLA, the number of ER visits is down but the acuity is up. Meaning, only ppl with actual emergencies are showing up, not BS like “I skinned my knee.”
