The Dude suggests 3 games called the CFP Invitational. The top 6 teams not in a conference championship game play the weekend of the conference championship games. Typically, those six would be ranked in the 12 already. This year, it’d be Oregon, Ole Miss, A&M, Oklahoma, ND, and Miami.

The sites should rotate among the CFP sites that don’t already host a game that weekend—NOLA, Miami, Phoenix, Pasadena—unless one of those sites is hosting the CFP Final like Miami is this year. Pairings can be conference based, location based, ranking based, or a combination.

It’s not part of the playoff—only a way for each team in contention to get a 13th game.

just get rid of the conference championship game

Too much money involved.
MORE football, not less.

If anything, he seems hungry. We haven’t had a hungry head coach is quite some time.

Conference championship games need to be put out to pasture in college football

It’s the exact opposite. The answer to this problem isn’t less football; it’s more football.

Destination cities like NOLA and Nashville should host games featuring the best teams that aren’t in a conference championship game. The games would be the same weekend as the championship games.

That way, all the teams that are in consideration for the playoff play the same amount of games.

More football, not less.
Bracing for downvotes.

$30. No tip.

Context…I’ve been going to this guy for ~25 yrs. He used to work for a bigger barbershop and then went out on his own and I kept going to him. When he was with the bigger barbershop, I’d tip $3-4. Now, it’s just him—solo shop, all the money goes to him. He used to charge high teens and I’d tip to make it an even $20. He would increase his price by a dollar or so every year or two. When he got to $20, I’d tip to make it an even $25 just to make it easy. Once he got over $25, I stopped tipping and he’s now at $30. I gladly pay it though. Good guy, MAGA as hell.

My thinking is this. All the money goes to him, so is it necessary to tip? Also, I’m gonna go to him until he retires and I’ll pay whatever he charges. And he knows this. If he charged $40, I’d pay it. So I feel like, if he wants $40 to cut my hair, he’d charge $40 and I’d pay the $40. So why tip?
I’d exchange the Pels for an NHL team. Hockey games are way more entertaining to go to.

This will be the new phrase the Left uses to attack those that disagree with them. They’ll eventually use it to imprison the dissenters (if they ever return to power). After all, inciting violence is illegal.
When Dennis Allen chose to beg Pete Carmichael to be OC instead of trying to hire an up and coming offensive coach as OC.

Abolish the FCC

Let’s use this political moment to abolish the FCC. You’ll see droves of Dems come out in support of the FCC—in support of censorship. They’ll tie themselves into a pretzel.
I think Victims of Political Assassination Day (VPA Day) would be more palatable and appropriate.
Close with “It was good debating you. Don’t shoot me.”

They need to be constantly reminded of the hatred their side fosters.
The cold civil war that has been bubbling under the surface is turning into a hot civil war.

Not true, actually.

Biden is so old, he’s part of the silent generation (the only president that that generation produced). Weirdly, if he had been born just a few weeks earlier, he would’ve been old enough to vote for JFK. Dude is old.
“ The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life. And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe -- the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God.”

As a kid, whenever we passed someone with that body habitus, my dad would shake his head and say “there’s hunger in America.”
The president controls the DC National Guard but he doesn’t control the Capitol building/complex (Congress does) nor the Capitol Police. If he wants to deploy the DC National Guard to protect the Capitol, Congress (or, rather, their leaders) and the Capitol Police need to approve.

What’s the best active streaming site for sports? In Cancun, trying to watch the NCAA baseball games today
Shrimp po boy from John and Mary’s Food Store. Just down the street from Parkway. Better and cheaper.
